What are you waiting on to arrive...?

I ordered a Yuma from him last week and received a shipping notice a couple days later... Just hang in there. He does good business.

 

Shaveabuck, I'm guessing? Don't worry, it will come. I think its a one man operation and he's a bit overwhelmed. A number of us had orders placed 11/24 or thereabouts that we just recently received. Mine came on Thursday, to give you an idea.

 

With all the buzz surrounding Catie's Bubbles, I had to find out about this soap. I ordered Jardin D'Or from Maggards. Within a few minutes of my order I received an email from Casie saying she'd ship my order out tomorrow. That's legendary customer service!

 

Well, I wasn't going to name the vendor, but it seems everyone has figured it out anyhow. I guess he has a reputation for being slow. I don't mind waiting a while for an order, but he really should put something on his website like "orders ship in 10 to 14 business days", that way we know going in. I do a lot of online shopping, and even when an order is going to take a while, most businesses communicate that to you. Its only good business practice to let your customers know up front.

I really am looking forward to getting the Cadet TTO, as I've read only good stuff about them.

He's usually not this slow, this is just how it is right now. When I ordered a Cadet a few months ago everything shipped very quickly. He undoubtedly has something going on in his life that is causing/caused his personal life to take over his business life a bit, that's all. So, no reputation for him being slow, other than like you, several of us had placed orders around the same time and hadn't heard anything so we talked about it here already.

Just got a new to me Gillette New from eBay. I enjoyed my Sheraton OC so much and heard great things about the New and wanted to try one. After two shaves it does not feel as smooth as the Sheraton. The New seems to be a more aggressive razor. I will give another shave with my benchmark blade a Lab Blue then try a Voskhod.

I have 3 tubes of C.O. Bigelow I'm not allowed to try till Christmas according to my wife.

 

It's the holidays...one man shop i believe...when I ordered in the early fall he did great. I stand by him, it is slow because of Xmas, IMHO. And I await your thoughts on the cadet tto...they are a crowd fave around here!

I guess if I didn't make it past the second round, I will still be waiting come Friday
