30 Day rule group starting! Any interest for Jan 2015?

I shaved with it again today it started out good but seemed to lose its sharpness towards last pass, I stropped it 30 times on a strop laying on a table. Passable smooth shave just not as good as yesterday's.

But I will stick with it for the 30 days in January for sure.

Maybe we should create a TSD 2015 calendar giving people an upstream visibility to what monthly events they can participate in so, if needed they can take any necessary preparations.

Ex:

January: 30 Day Rule Group
July: No Buy July

Etc, etc

 

Good idea...I don't know how to get that done...but I hope we have so much to do on TSD that we need a calendar!

 

Maybe even call out things like "Menthol Mondays", etc.
Could be interesting for new members as well to see what they can participate in

No need for account or signup...the calendar is by default open for anyone to add content to.
You can even add links, photos, etc to the calendar

It may be in my head, but I find I get better shaves the longer I use a combo.

Muscle memory gets fine tuned with a razor and the lather dialed in to yield the best results.

That is part of the reason my razor rotation is in weeks or months and I try to stay with one soap from start to finish.

 

I 100% agree. Practice makes perfect, as is often said.

 

I never did the 30 day rule when I started a while back. (but I should have...)

The brush? Omega 49. Probably the best quality bargain priced shave brush out there.

Post Shave- Witch Hazel followed by Dove After Shave Balm

 

I'm in too. I just got a Gillette New and have couple shaves in already. I will use C.O. Bigelow and will have to order some blades once I try a couple more with the New. I think it will be between a Lab Blue and a Voskhod. I did 30 days with my MTO when I started wet shaving back in August it really helped me get good results with the MTO. Hope to do the same with the Gillette New.
