    1) Hebrew (my first language. I'm Israeli
    2) French (I went to French private schools as a child)
    3) Arabic (6 dialects absolutely fluent)
    4) Russian (also a childhood language for me)
    5) German (also a childhood language for me)
    6) Ukrainian
    7) Polish
    8) Greek (I lived in Greece for 10 years before moving to Canada)
    9) Swahili (I have many friends from Tanzania and Rwanda)
    10) Lingala (spoken in Congo-Kinshasa and Congo-Brazzaville)
    11) Yiddish (another childhood language)

    I have a decent command of:

    1) Romanian
    2) Hungarian
    3) English

    I understand and I can manage brief conversations in:

    1) Czech
    2) Slovak
    3) Bulgarian
    4) Serbian

    And I can read:

    1) Farsi
    2) Amharic

  13. That reminds me of a lesson I learned from a friend while in Europe. When I traveled two thousand miles West from New York I encountered one culture and one language. When he traveled two thousand miles East from Italy...Well , you get the picture.;)

  14. Now I know no Norwegian. It sounds like a good soap. But maybe our Norwegian friends have a different style of marketing.
