    Thanks. I have one set at 48mm and it is just a touch too low. After seeing yours, I was thinking about doing my other one to 50-52 mm of loft. Not sure, but thanks a lot for the description. I appreciate it.

    Hot shower with sandalwood spice soap

    Brush... purple b& b essential boar
    Soap... caties bubbles rosee du matin

    My first shave with a caties bubbles soap. It went well. Nice scent. Smells like rosemary, lemon, lime, with a floral note to it.

    NO SHAVE! We had to get up early to beat the storm home and good thing we did, so I didn't shave and decided to just wait until tomorrow. I think this is the first shave I've skipped since maybe August?

    So I will share a photo of my 11 year old's joyful reaction to receiving a Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas:

    First time trying the PolSilver today. They seem a little sharper than Voskhod but less smooth. Got a good shave out of it and one weeper. The menthol felt great today. Hope everyone is having a good Monday!

    The ARKO Stick Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes with my Gillette NEW and Feather Hi-Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Excellent 3-pass shave with the C-MON & Stirling 'Cool' lather; classic cedar-scented D.R. Harris aftershave.
