Nice shave this morning. I took a couple of days off to enjoy the Holidays. This our first Christmas without our kids being around but Sparky and my grand nephew more than compensated for their absence and provided plenty of entertainment.
There's a point in the life of a puppy and a young child when it's seems to click intellectually, we were at that point this weekend. Have a good one.

Today's shave was all about the lather! I received a generous sample of Maggard's London Barbershop from Mr. MSU (tdmsu), and I can't believe that I haven't used this stuff sooner. If you have already tried Strop Shoppe Barbershoppe, this stuff is almost identical in scent, but thankfully stronger. The lather was creamy, slick, and smooth. I really liked how protective it was, and it washed off very clean without any residue. I will definitely be picking up this combo in the near future.

I also ordered some Unrefined Shea Butter thanks to celestino. I'm going to use it after each shave for the next few weeks, and see how well it helps my sensitive neck area. I can already tell that the added protection is going to be great for the winter weather.

The Ikon 102 with matching Silvertip Brush were a couple of smooth operators and I have to sum up this shave as a great one.

    Enjoy your Tuesday Gents!

Stirling Glacial Obsidian is tricky for me...I have helped it out with a dab of Nuka. I am with you on this one. The skincare and scents are great, but the soap can be tricky for me as well.

    Hey Buddies,

moments ago i endet the last shave of 2014. It was a great shave. Now 2015 can come. :) Here is what i used:

Pre: hot face wash || Soap: Cold River Soapworks "Fall Limited Edition" || Brush: PAV Brushworks || Razor: Rotbart Mond Extra No. 15 || Blade: HEMA || Aftershave: Wilkinson Sword "Ocean"

The second use of my Rotbart razor. Again...it is a fantastic razor. It´s a very smoooooooth razor where shaving is fun, fun, fun. I enjoyed the brush with it´s gel like tips (Virginia Sheng knot) in combination with the wonderful scent of the CRSW.

Friends, i hope you will have a Happy New Year. Stay healthy and wealthy and have a wonderful time.
