I don't wait until New Years or use resolutions as an excuse for doing something. If something needs to be done, just do it.
Well hello negative nacy lol Not everything has to be super serious it's just something fun to make a goal or two at the beginning of the year
Pretty much! I saw last month that Nerd Fitness(one of the blogs I read) called December 2nd "National Respawn Day" http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2014/12/02/fallen-off-the-wagon-today-is-national-respawn-day/ ie you don't need to wait another month to begin(or restart) a resolution. Obviously a month later now is a fine time to start one, but there is no reason not to have(or jump back on) a resolution the other 364.25 days in the year.
Completely true. I didn't set it as a goal for anything other than saying that I was "healthy" by their standards. I'm fit as a fiddle other than my back. I do have a little extra jiggle here and there but am far from "overweight". I have a buddy who is a strongman competitor turned bodybuilder and he is morbidly obese according to those BMI labels. He's 6'5" and just shy of 300 lbs and there ain't a shred of fat on the dude; purely beast.
Yeah, they don't take athletes into account at all. Just for fun I googled what the charts say for Dwayne Johnson, At 6'5 and 260 lbs, he's Obese. lols: Anyway, I had quite a bit of lower back pain and after working on planks, V-Ups, Knees to bar, Toes to bar, Lunges, hanging windshield wipers, and a few other random things, my back feels tones better. I'm sure like everything YMMV but it worked wonders for me. Good luck with your plans!
