yeah even I use Aveeno foaming face wash, that's really good one or else you can go for oxygen skincare products.
I have a longtime love affair with Liz Earle Hot Cloth Facial Wash--it's sort of a cold cream. Really balances combination skin. Unfortunately, I seem to have developed an allergy to it, so for the moment I washing with my Soaperb tea tree and eucalyptus shave soap, and it's so nice it's making me feel darn silly for what I've been spending on the Liz Earle. I'm a girl. The combined dollar amount of the stuff I put on my face would buy many, many beautiful razors. For oily skin: Bentonite clay. It's in everything from toothpaste to kitty litter, but in its unadulterated state, you can get big jars of it on Amazon or in health food stores under the name Indian Healing Clay. It absorbs something like 600 times its weight in liquid (water OR oil) and has drawing properties so powerful I've used it to remove slivers and cactus needles that were too far in for tweezers or a needle. It will also suck the infection out of a wound overnight if you pack on a thick layer and cover it with plastic wrap. I have the dubious distinction of being from a town near one of the country's largest bentonite mines, so I've seen this stuff "in the wild"....it is crazy powerful. It will eat a car. You oily pores will be defenseless against the mighty power of Bentonite!
Lately I've been using TBS Maca Root Face Wash or L'Oreal Face Wash (from the awesome crackstar.) He sent me this and it arrived Friday with a bunch of other stuff. I have been using this since I received it. It smells good, it's mildly cooling, it has good ingredients, it wakes you up, and it's easy to rinse off. After all that, I use TBS Maca Root Face Scrub.
I was shocked to see there are two versions of the L'Oreal face wash. Both have menthol. I bought the other version yesterday and I want to see how cooling it is.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this: Made since 1914. Got a tub for $2 at Walmart last year and not even half way done.
I wondered why Noxzema hadn't come up, too. Seems like the Eucalyptus would appeal to many on here. Pretty sure it's mineral-oil based, but if that doesn't bother you, it's a great bargain.
I have a new face wash that in an online promotion. It's called Cremo Face Wash, made by the same people who make Cremo Shaving Cream. I have only used it a couple times, but so far so good. I have no idea if it's available in local stores or anything. Looks like that part is up to you if you're interested in this product.
I've been using the dove for men face care, I bought in clearance last January really like the soap and the post shave balm and face lotion, my sin feels moisturized, not oily and the feeling last most of the day
I just use honey. Wet hands and face, take a teaspoon of (GOOD, preferably raw) honey, rub it on your face, and rinse it off. Leaves skin feeling great, and accidentally getting some in your mouth isn't absolutely awful.
I've found that any of the Nivea or Neutrogena face washes work great! They are readily available ay any drug or discount store and are reasonably priced at about $5.
I just use Clinique face soap for men. It works fine, it's not loaded with a lot of irritants, and it works good as a prep to soften whiskers.
Thanks. I just used it because it came free with a lot of stuff. I like Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash a lot more.
