Menthol Monday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Shark day 7 Synergy Frost_byte SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Osage Rub AS Dolce & Gabbana EdT Here's a set-up which is not for the faint of heart because it's potently-cold. The Neutrogena facial wash has no shortage of menthol and the Frost_byte soap ranks a close second to the Glacial soaps. Its lather is so easy to work up, and it gives great skincare. I'm so in love with the Gold Bond moisturizer and the Rubby Dubby Doo (I'll soon need some more) is in a class of its own!
SOTD: 1/5/15 My shave's aren't that exciting equipment wise. My prep and software usually the same, I don't rotate much. I do, however, rotate the brush and razor. Razor: Gillette Old Type - This razor was a gift from my 90 year old aunt. She said it was her father's razor. He died in the 1930's. I did next to nothing to clean it up, it was that nice. January 5's Nivea Men's Face Wash Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap Wild Cherry STB Schick Eversharp I2 Personna Injector CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Aqua Velva The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Wild Cherry STB Brush. Two passes with my Schick Eversharp I2 and Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to trying this razor again. I used it once earlier this year, it was my first OC razor and not a pleasant shave. I've used several other OC's now and feel I know what to expect. Should be an adventure! BTW - this would be my great uncles razor.

Days 1 and 2 were insightful, and I am currently using the razor set on 4. TSD shave sticks are a sure thing for great lather. The plan is to get the Slim all dialed in this month! Monday's going to be an off day for me as I had an extremely close but excellent shave today using my new Gillette New for the 1st time (1st time with an OC too). I had been sick so I had 4-days growth. Today's shave was.............. Pre-Shave: Noxzema w/Moisturizer (3-5 min) Shower: Nivea Sensitive Face Wash Brush: Omega 6151 Pure Badger Cream: TOBS Avocado Razor&Blade: Gillette New (new Derby Blade) Shave: 3-pass (WTG, XTG & ATG) Post Shave: Thayers Cucumber WH AS: Fine American Blend ASB: Nivea Sensitive........... Fantastic Shave! 11-hours later, still practically BBS!

Monday Morning Shave Razor: Gillette Red Tip Blade: Astra Superior Stainless (1) Brush: Vie-long White Horse Hair Cream: Hobby Cool AS: Barbasol Pacific Rush Perfect BBS, I absolutely loved The Red Tip. It gives an irritation and weeper free shave. I guess it'll be my favorite DE.
