    Barbershop Wednesday
I went for the MLB experience today. Fresh classic barbershop scent filled my bathroom as the Lather Monster dealt with the soap harshly, leaving creamy yogurt to prop up my stubble, only to be guillotined by Der Vorschlaghammer. My face is smooth and creamy comfortable and smelling great thanks to MLB aftershave. DFTBA!

    Prep: Proraso White
    Soap: Maggard's London Barbershop
    Brush: HIS XL
    Razor: Der Vorschlaghammer 39c
    Blade: Astra SP
    AS: Maggard's London Barbershop

rmcintyre84 Got out of the kitchen

I received a sample of Stirling (Sterling?) Mentha Scrub soap for Christmas. I used it this morning. Wow! Refreshing, "wake you up" scent, and slightly chilly. I will be purchasing several blocks. However . . . heed their warning about gradually trying out the soap on your more sensitive body parts. The sensation stopped just shy of a rather cruel prank we boys used to play on one another after gym class. (Or, as Danny Vermin might say, "You shouldn't play that prank on me. My classmates played that prank on me once. ONCE.")

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette Executive 195 (D3), Dubl Duck Goldedge straight razor
    Blade: Astra SP (6)
    Brush: Turkish #6
    Soap: Cella
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave
Cologne: Prada - Amber Pour Homme Intense

Another Darn Fine Shave. The #6 whipped up the Cella wonderfully this morning. The lather was thick, slick and stable. The 195 and the Duck had no trouble with the stubble. The AV brought some chill and the Prada will have me smelling great all day.

    Have a blessed day!
