I overused my blade, so the shave was only DFS after 3 passes. But, the MDC still leaves my face feeling great.

    Thanks! But nope. :)

Just put the items on one of my vintage sewing machines (I've got some 12-15) and made a sepia photo. :rah:

    Cade soap

    Cade balm

2 pass DFS today. No irritation. No weepers. I'm finding that my first two passes have become much more effective and I have been able to drop a pass. This was one of my goals. Cade soap was really great, but my lather was initially a little to dry. Added some water and everything was great. I have started using Cade balm as it is so cold up here. This has been a really nice skin care product thus far.

Traveling with Mastro Livi Perugia 13.12.14 and Alum Block

This is the razor I took with me this time, in my usual job travel. This is the latest Mastro Livi straight razor I added to my collection and I am very happy with it. This time, and after a very long time I did not do that, I wanted to use the alum block in my post shave routine. I don't know why, but I stopped using alum block some time ago and, this morning, when I saw it in my traveling shaving bag, I thought it was nice to use it again. And I remembered how I liked it, still not figuring out why I stopped using it. Sometimes it is very good to go back to the good and old habits!

I've been seeing all the great photos on Instagram showing how these razors are being made and it's very impressive.

    Pre - Corn Huskers
    Soap - RR Zi Peppino
Brush - Li Occitane Plisson Synthetic
    Razor - Rockwell/Frankenrazor (3)
    Blade - Astra SP (2)
    AS - The VEG

Overall a very good shave. Getting the angle dialed in with each shave. And seeing as photos appear to have a theme of BW/Sketch this week, something different from me as well.
