I'm not sure if this is 'news' or not. I know you've been able to buy Florida Water cologne on the Walgreens site for a long time but I've never seen any bottles in their actual stores...until today. Neato.
Might be worth giving them a call first - no idea how their inventory differs state-to-state...even store-to-store. This store had a PILE of them.
I love Florida Water. If you're into history as well this might be one you have to try given the rather amazing long history it has. Check this out. "The company states that their product, now sold under the Murray & Lanman brand, still uses the original 1808 formula, and that the current label is also a slightly modified version of the 1808 original."
Have to go there tomorrow anyway for a script will just go in instead of drive thru.....I have a zillion reward points anyway and need to get some aqua velva for my 70's/80's (I think) era glass bottle en route to me Monday...I have an AS issue at the moment...
Not sure if I should tell you that there are some really nice vintage, glass Florida Water bottles on the bay right now for under $15 - and a lot on Etsy as well for even cheaper in some cases
I forgot to mention that another product I saw for the first time at Walgreens today was Pinaud's Tres Flores Hair Brilliantine:
If you go to Walgreens to find Florida Water, it's not by the after shaves as least at the Walgreens in my neighborhood. It's located in the area where Burts Bees and other skin care type products are located.
When i picked mine up today it was with the after shaves..didn't check anywhere else obviously once i found it.
I just returned from an El Rancho Super Mercado with tomatillo salsa ingredients, charcoal for fire roasting said ingredients, and a bottle of Florida Water. I like the smell.
