Evening Shave for Tomorrow

I always look forward to seeing 'Der Otto' coming around in my straight razor rotation.
Such a pleasure to use this beautiful razor, with a 'face feel' very reminiscent of the other similarly-styled razors from Bresduck inc. Super-smooth!
If you've never had the opportunity to use one of Bresduck/Pearlduck razors (such as the Dbl Ducks, Beau Brummel, Deutsch), you owe it to yourself to try.
I can see why they're so popular with SR shavers as not only are they beauties to look at, but they're great shavers as well.

Decided to make this a full Tiki Shave Soap week and going with another custom blend that is one of my favorite Bay Rums and from an Artisian who's shave products are one of the best in my book or should say face and neck.

Tuesday Morning Shave
Razor: Gillette Red Tip
Blade: Topaz Stainless (2)
Brush: Isana Men Pure Badger
Soap: Arko with Bitter Almond EO
AS: Barbasol Brisk

First time with Topaz blade and I absolutely liked it. It sometimes tugges but it's a comfy blade and I can feel the smoothness on my neck area after the shave.

 

Superb Tabacstag!
Tabac immer wieder in der Nähe von optimalen Schaum und Schutz zu bieten.
der Vorschlaghammer übernahm von ihm ist Landsmann herausragenden und ließ mich mit einem glatten, angenehme Rasur, wie immer.
Ich beendete mit B & M Latha Rasierwasser auf meiner Haut und Tabac cologne zu ernähren. Ich wünsche ihnen einen wunderbaren tag!

today's shave was nice. face lathered Latoja. mixed my muhle and Matador. it made for a very nice/ close shave. three passes and finish with iced Brut.
I have no idea why I was hesitant to swap razor components, never sat well with me. I have to admit the grippy Matador handle with the ever efficient muhle head, did super well.

Razor: Gillette Aristocrat, Dubl Duck Goldedge straight razor
Blade: Astra SP (2)
Brush: Turkish #6
Soap: L'Ocitanne - Cade
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave
Cologne: Gravity

Another Darn Fine Shave + this morning. The #6 whipped up the Cade into a great lather. The Aristocrat and the Duck performed well. The AV brought some chill and the Gravity will have me smelling good for the rest of the day.

TUES. 1/13

RAZOR: '58 Fat Boy
BLADE: SuperMax Platinum
SOAP: Proraso green
BRUSH: WD silvertip
AS: Barbasol Pacific Rush

Shave #4 with the Fat Boy / SuperMax combo. (I figured out what shave I'm on). Opinion on the SuperMax is that it is OK, pretty good, in fact, but doesn't seem to get close enough. Tomorrow a new Astra.

 

Today I combined my favorite soap (Provence Sante) with my favorite Sandalwood cream (OAS Sandalwood) for a wonderfully creamy and scent filled shave. Unfortunately, my Voskhod was a bit over used, so I restrained myself to only 2 passes, which resulted in a decently smooth shave.

Rustic Shave Soap Mahogany today. 20 seconds: load & go with the ER brush. Great, easy lather. Gillette Spoiler still in the NEW. Excellent, smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud.
