Ahh... so you picked that set up. I am jealous. Not about the razor, but the box badge. That is the only Ever Ready badge I don't have a perfect version of. Yeah, that's right. That is what it has come to. I am officially collecting box variations.

    Thanks.

The Personna Injector is a moderate (some say mild razor) but it looks like something Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott would use and still look modern off in the distant future!

Participating in the 30 day rule January bit and have been using a Clog Pruf for the last nine days. I'm still on the first GEM PTFE and it's still going strong daily. I'm going to be pushing it to ten for Saturday.

Day 14 and I'm really getting the hang of this Clog Pruf. I acquired it as part of a lot of twelve old razors a few months ago and it's pretty ugly. The shaves however are excellent. Looks like I'm gonna need some more blades.

I just bought a Schick G-type injector on eBay last night for $9.89 delivered. I've purchased numerous vintage Gillettes so I know what to look for when buying used razors online. It appears to be in good shape for its age (just hope it works). My question is are there any blade choices for it other that the 7-pack Schick's for these razors? I've never tried an injector so I don't know. My reason for buying it was to add this type of razor to my collection of vintage Gillette's, Schick Krona's and GEM's................. Thanks!

I'm sure you'll like it. Those Schick blades are really good. Your only other option for currently produced blades are Personnas. You can find them on Amazon but the cheapest place seems to be Connaught shaving. Ironically a store in the UK is the cheapest place to buy US made blades. I think they're also available from Ted Pella (medical supplies).

First time using an injector today.
I was such a newbie that even the blade loading stumped me for a few seconds until I noticed the metal piece that slid into the slot in the back of it and after that it was smooth sailing.

And 'smooth' might be the keyword for my shave as well - very smooth but oh so, so mild.
I really enjoyed using this Personna Injector razor but it was almost too mild for me. I have some stubble under my chin that I normally never is left with.
Love the look of this razor and it is probably impossible to cut myself with it...but the overly mild shave it gives might result in it not making it to my regular rotation...

I'm shaving with my Dad's old Schick E for the next week. At some time in its life, he replaced the handle with one he made from wood. Good save today.

That is a great job he did. How does it feel compared to the G and the I? Wonderful example of the repair rather than throw away mentality of our parents' generation.

That handle/razor looks really great and I can only imagine the sentimental value it carries. Grats.

Thank you. I think he did a pretty good job on it. It has some good geometry.
