Have to let us know what you think of the ATT OC Slant. I had it in my cart then changed my mind. I have the ATT R1 and H2 and like them both. Excellent shavers and build quality.

I wasn't able to post this yesterday, but here we go.
Prep: Shower, Proraso green preshave, vaseline
    Brush: Kabuki synthetic
Razor: Gillette Slim adjustable on 8
    Blade: Personna platinum
    Soap: TSD Iced Subzero
Postshave: Home-mix aftershave and a little vaseline
This was a nice, solidly cool shave: nothing crazy or over the top, but some nice cooling. My home mix has the Rub, witch hazel, and a little glycerin in it, which finishes things off nicely.

    Single Edge Sunday...

Tonight was a fantastic shave. Shame on me for never having tried an injector razor. Thanks to the Tour Box, I was able to give this one a shot, and you can consider me hooked!! This thing performs great, and provided one hell of a shave. I'm starting to think that the Single Edge lovers are really onto something.

This brush handle was also courtesy of the tour box and was provided by @GDCarrington (Fine work Gary). I wasted no time loading it with my newly acquired High Mountain Badger knot from Whipped Dog. This knot is different from anything that I've used in the past, but I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised.

Overall, I was impressed and will start my search for an I2 Injector. I really like the look of that black and gold hydromagic.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Gents, and Now "It's Time..." to enjoy some UFC fights....

    Thanks, looking for a knot similar to that..for a 400-3 :)

@Darkbulb I did buy more 400-3 fully restored with the WSP HMW knot already installed. I helped a friend restore his 400-4 and after using my brush he used the same knot. I am working on another 400-4 for myself. Not sure what knot I will pick. I'll probably get some advise here on the forum as I get closer to finishing the project. Good luck with your restoration.

I'm thinking about getting a 26mm HMW from TGN - their prices are very reasonable.

I had another friend who is doing just that same thing. While I enjoy using it, I am pretty sure that I would not have bought the WSP knot myself.

    Hi Friends,

i´m a bit late with my shave from yesterday. Sorry about that. But my girlfriend had birthday yesterday, so that i could not post my shave yesterday. :( But here now, my shave from 18.01.2015:

    -Preshave: hot shower
    -Soap: Calani Terracotta
    -Brush: Semogue 620
-Razor: Rotbart Mond Extra Open Comb
    -Blade: Triton R3
    -Aftershave: CH Pitralon

    and for the smell:

    -Felce Azzura Talcum powder

Nice shave. The razor has it´s own angle to shave with. It was a bit tricky from time to time, but all in all it has been a great shave. The soap smells fresh and nice and pairs wonderful with the Swiss Pitralon. If you have the chance to smell at the Felce Azzura shower gel or the talcum powder, do it!!! I love the scent.

Have a great time and stay healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Shave of the Day

Shave 7 of 30 day rule

    Prep: Anthony facial wash
    Razor: Morley 5/8 barbers notch
Brush: New Forest 2204 High Mountain badger
Lather: Whoos the Man - It's Elementary soap
Shave: 3 passes; WTG, XTG, ATG + Cleanup
    Post: Clubman Special Reserve

I've been going 2, sometimes 3 days between shaves lately.

Another good shave, I have hit a plateau in my technique but its delivering good shaves. I still have a problem with setting the blade down too fast on the skin, giving me a small cut from the sharpness of the razor. Its something I am learning from however.

More great smelling soap, face lathered. I really like the smell of this sherlock inspired soap quite a bit. Finished off with musky Special Reserve.

    Cheers

Just watched the highlight show, you were right, great game. I don't specifically support any team but Packers fans must have been in tears!

You mean it is not the 18th. Oh wait darn it is the 21st. Oh well that is what happens when you are out of work recuperating. Seriously a major problem with keeping up with time, and reading and mouse control and.....
