Nope, we Oregonians who live off the grid in the wilderness don't wear shoes. ;)

Thanks Droid, I have one just like it (same case an everything) with the Ever-Ready badge instead. These make nice little travel razors.

Looks like your Ever-Ready is "Cherry"! One of those stashed away and forgotten for a Century!
Try one of those GEM Stainless Blades that you can buy at Walgreens or Walmart. They are cheap, available and I have never had any problems with their performance. Hope that the blood-letting is over and your SE starts acting civilized real soon. :happy088:

Menthol(ish) Monday: I forgot today was menthol monday,:ashamed001: but some menthol was there nonetheless.
Prep: Shower, Proraso Green pre-shave, vaseline
    Brush: Kabuki synthetic
    Blade: Dovo Best Quality 5/8
    Soap: Mike's Rose and Cedarwood
    Post: Home-mix aftershave and vaseline
After my two pass shave, I used the extra soap in the brush to whip up some extra lather; the close-up lather up was taken a good two minutes after I placed the lather on top of the brush. Love this soap.

Didn't have time to take a picture but here is what I used today :

    brush : Semogue 1305
    razor : Gillette Tech
    blade : Gillette Platinum (2)
cream : Mem Olive shaving cream
post : Tarr lotion + Floid Blue

I did 2 passes today, as usual, WTG and ATG. I use this setup at least 3 times/week so I know what to expect, great performance and no irritation.
Tomorrow I'll have time to do a hot towel prep, looking forward on it

    Tyr's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave Balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
Soap: Ginger's Garden Grapefruit Mint glycerin
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (2)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (3, 4, 5)
Post: Cold water rinse, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman
    Cologne: Burberry Brit by Burberry

The RazoRock and tallow Ginger's Garden may have spoiled me a bit. The lather today was easy to make, but not quite as thick or slick as the lather I've been making recently. It still provided more than ample protection and glide for all three passes this AM, before I head back to school again. I got BBS results, but - again perhaps due to the difference between tallow and glycerin - my face feels slightly drier than I've recently grown accustomed to.

Prep: Hot shower. Axe Shield Face Wash
    Razor: RazoRock Stealth Slant
    Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel
    Brush: Omega Pro 49
    Lather: Stirling Coconut
    Post: Alum.Thayers Lavender WH.
    Aftershave: Stephan Island Lime
I haven't used Stirling Soap in a very long time. My friend Omar reminded me that I hadn't, boy Stirling is right up there with the rest of them when it comes to glide, cushion and skincare! The Coconut is one of my favorite scents.
    Go out and get it!

    Oscar11 omega
    arko
    Gillette new short comb
    persona lab(3)
    lilac vegital
today's shave stunk. I used my least favorite elements together hoping the combo would improve one or both of them. oh well, when you smell like I do today, you just have to stand up straight and put on the confidence. three passes made a very nice shave.
hope y'all did as well, or at least smell better doing it.

Mike's Natural is such a great value. If you bloom it and feed it plenty of water, it will reward you with an excellent shave.

    Arko SS w/added M-Bomb
    Vulfix "Strand" boar brush
    Schick J1 razor
    Personna blade
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel/Sage mix
    Barbasol Pacific Rush A/S

Very pleasant, cooling shave this morning. The M-Bomb added just the right amount of menthol and the glycerin helped a bit too. I am so ready to go now.

Forgot to snap a pic but tried something new this shave. Technically a few things. First, thanks to a generous PIF from @Jayaruh I had a chance to use a Schick M adjustable injector. Second, I shaved right before bed. The idea here was a little extra healing time before putting on my shirt and tie for work might reduce some of my neck irritation. Third, I picked up a Crystal Potassium Alum deodorant at my local Whole Foods. All together a decent experience. The injector will take some practice and I plan to dedicate a month to it once I finish my current DE sample pack.
    • Prep: Warm towel to the face
    • Preshave: Noxzema
    • Soap/Cream: Proraso green
    • Brush: L’Occitane Plisson synthetic
    • Razor: Schick Injector M adjustable
    • Blade: Personna
    • Post shave: Alum stick

I rushed thru a 3 pass shave this morning. Results were DFS not as good as my usual. I need to learn to slow down or at least wake up earlier.
