Maybe not the most exciting item I've added to my den - but one I've been wanting to try out for some time. I have a bit of rosacea/facial redness and supposedly this product, based on some very positive online reviews, does a good job of managing both redness and provide a nice after shave effect. I already like With Hazel quite a bit so for $7 I thought I'd take a gamble on it. It also goes well in line with my 2015 attempt to move away from after shaves with alcohol in them (I guess The Veg will become a body/neck splash)
I had Amazon gift cards from Christmas and decided to spend a little of it on some products I had never tried before. Kyoku Razor Repair Balm Kyoku Exfoliating Facial Scrub Nivea Energy Face Scrub L'Oréal Hydra Energetic After Shave Balm Dreadnought Shaving Cream I'm also still waiting on a jar of Kyoku Saké Infused Shave Cream that's coming from another merchant. It's funny, the Kyoku product sound Japanese, but are distributed by a British company and made in America. Anyone ever try these? I don't recall every seeing them in any SOTD.
I'd be curious to hear how you like the Dreadnaught shaving cream. I believe this is the one that after 20-30 days of use actually starts suppressing your facial hair growth.
Yeah I read that too. Not sure if I believe that, but we'll see. As for how I like it? I give it two thumbs very high up. Here's what I wrote in the SOS thread about it: I also plan to get their AS now that I've tried the cream. If the fragrance is the same or similar I can see myself using it regularly.
Today's haul is EPIC! Amanda from Tiki Bar Soap is AWESOME! I love the handwritten personal note. First class! Tiki Soap Salty Air Tiki Soap Cabernet Neroli Tiki Soap Citrus Mint Blast Tiki Soap Pumpkin Lager
Just finished using a feather blade today. Need a new blade tomorrow, so it's lucky I got this today Delivery took only 14 days. I have never tried any of these before so are there any suggestions on which blade i should try first?
That's a nice haul =D 14 days is quite nice! I hade tried the LADAS. They are soo smooth, I would try those first. If it wasn't for my No buy until July I think I would have bought 100pack of the ladas. They were that good for me =)
Just arrived: Peripherally shaving-related, my new pin vise arrived. I have split or cracked a number of razor scales (often vintage horn) attempting to enlarge the pin opening to accommodate a larger brass/SS rod. Having the right tool on hand should make this job easier and less fraught with peril.
