Hey man, you have assembled many of my favorites here....Looks like a wonderful shave was had...I love the 1924, and what a cool example you have here, my friend....Plus I'm a big fan of the "Veg", Dickinson' WH, GEM Blades, Boar Brushes....come on! You're shaving the story of my life...ha,ha....

BTW, I started a new thread for cats to show their Fedoras and such....You were a big motivation for that...Would love to see some of your 'Sky-pieces'....};^) Please swing by when you get a chance... http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/fedoras-pork-pies-trilbys-what-is-your-favorite-hat.42699/

    Superb Shave
I'm more impressed with Krampert's soap after today's optimal shave. The scent bloomed better than yesterday, I think because I used less water on the puck while I prepped. The lather monster easily made yogurt that provided a nice set up for der Vorschlaghammer to smoothly mow down my stubble. So far in my experience, this razor is the best combination of efficiency and comfort I've tried. I finished with Krampert's Finest Bay Rum and I feel and smell great.
    Prep: Proraso White
Soap: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum
    Brush: HIS lather monster
    Razor: Der Vorschlaghammer
    Blade: Astra SP
AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum

Yes, I always face-lather with it. In fact I never bowl-lather at any time. :)

    Go out and get it!

    Semogue 1305 brush
Pleese Amcor razor with IDF handle
    Q-Ball blade
    MEM OLIVE shaving cream
    Floid Genuine aftershave

Did a quick 2 passes today. The Semogue has a little bit more backbone than the Omega 48 which I love to use, but you get used to it. The Mem Olive cream generated lots of lather and everything went as it should go, no big surprises here. Pretty sweet shave!
