    Schick L-1
    Personna Injector
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Aqua Velva

The Cella Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Wild Cherry STB Brush. Two passes with my Schick L-1 and a Personna Coated SS Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal Petal WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Dermalogica Pre-Shave Guard
    Dermalogica Soothing Shave Cream (brushless)
    Merkur 34c
    Feather Hi-Stainless
    L'Oréal ComfortMax Aftershave Blam

A couple of days ago I had a brush-less shave with my new Kyoku Shave Cream, and so today I decided to get out another of my brush-less creams that I have't used since switching to DE. I have been using Dermalogica products for a few years now, and they are really, really awesome, even if they're a tad pricey. The Dermalogica was always one of my best performing shave creams when using Fusion cartridges, and it did a great job again today. I still use the Dermalogica face scrub and ASB frequently.

Today I also decided to try out the renowned Feather Hi-Stainless. Wow, I think I may have found my new favorite blade! I was a little intimidated by this blade when I started DE shaving a couple of months ago, but I am very confident in my technique now, so I decided to give it a go. There really wasn't anything to be intimidated about. I've actually been getting great shaves with the last few blades I've tried, and this was no exception. I did two passed but I'd be willing to bet that if I did a single XTG/ATG pass I'd still get a DFS. I might try that tomorrow. What an excellent blade. After a few shaves on the Feather, I'm going to go back to my previous favorite, the Astra SP so I can really judge whether it takes the lead.

    Tomorrow's Planned Shave...Tobacco Tuesday

I went through a short discovery phase where I was enjoying Tobacco scented soaps, but I think I caught the bug once again. The WSP soap line is a really good performer, and this little Merkur Bakelite safety razor is deceptively good. It's very lightweight, but when paired with a fresh sharp blade, I get really smooth results. If you have a tin of Tobacco soap, break it out and lather it up tomorrow. I'm curious to see some new ones that I have yet to try.

    Have a good one gents...

Nice shave this morning. Have a good one. IMO, this blade looks a little goofy but none the less is a fine shaver. (has something to do with the barbers notch).

    Pal Injecto-Matic razor
    Personna blade
    OS/WH/S mix
    Barbasol Brisk A/S

Another nice shave with the Injecto-Matic. Reminds me a lot of a G series Schick which are my favorites. Dug out the FS Silver Tip and it performed flawlessly, giving a fantastic lather from a fine SC. All in all, a great start to the day.

Today's shave was a test of the Rapira Swedish Supersteel. As with the other Russian blades I have tried, this is a nice and smooth blade. While the Russian blades do not seem as sharp as some, such as the Feather, they are plenty sharp for me. 3 passes and a wonderful shave.

    Tobacco Tuesday
    Soap - RR Zi Peppino
    Brush - Vulfix 660S Medium
    Razor - Merkur 34C
    Blade - Gillette Black (4)
    AS - Pinaud Clubman Musk
Ok shave, passable with 1 small weeper. For those playing at home I lost my 2-1 bet on the Black Blade and completed my 4th 3 pass shave with it. Slight tugging all passes and not the closest shave, it has been retired to the blade bank.

MdC today. 15 seconds: load & go with the ER brush. Superb, easy, thick, cushioning lather. Polsilver SI in the Red Tip. Excellent, smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished with Country Club Souther Oud.

I also used a shampoo bar for the first time. It is by South Wedge, and was part of my Secret Santa. It works great! Thanks again Santa!
