today's shave was nice. first time that I know of using tobacco scented soap. it's very subtle, but the soap performed well with the whipped dog. three pass+ touch up left a very nice shave. finished with iced musk.

I've been having fantastic shaves with the SC101, the first pass I use the closed bar, the next two the open for a smooth DFS. Haven't used WSP in sometime, what a great soap!

3 pass shave. Pretty tuggy so I think this blade may be done after only 3 shaves. However, the resulting shave is pretty darn good, so do results trump process?

Nice 3 pad shave today. Tempted to start a 30 day challenge right now with the store brand Israeli Personnas, but I still have other blades in the drawer I want to try. Transitioning to days at work so I was a little rushed this morning and forgot to take a picture, so here's a picture of a monkey wearing clothes instead.

The Watkins SS gave an ok shave today with an adequate lather. Might need some more hydration. After all, it's probably at least 50 years old.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

RR Freedberg today. 20 seconds: load & go with the ER Silvertip. Great, easy, thick, cushioning lather. I loaded a new Rapira Platinum Lux in the Slim. Outstanding, smooth, close, shave. I finished with Fine Platinum.

Took a little extra time this morning for a excellent 3 pass shave with very small touch ups around the chin. These blades are very sharp. I ended up with a weeper so I must have put some pressure. The Soap Commander Passion scent paired well with the Captain's Choice Bay Rum AS.

Traveling with a Mastro Livi CarboInox​

The pleasure of shaving and traveling with a masterpiece! This Mastro Livi CarboInox straight razor is a joy to see and a joy to shave with. Another notable thing about this shave, is that I finally managed to get some Pinaud aftershave, as it recently is getting easier to find it in some European stores. Pinaud is a burning hell on your face - alcohol seems to be pretty a lot - but it definitely feels very refreshing and smooth.​
