I found a great deal on some nearly brand new Razorock aftershaves yesterday so of course I had to try one out. Went with the XX today just to give it a trial run since I had never an XX product at all. Nice scent and a couple of hours later it is still here and not terrible strong. Had a little of that burn I like with an aftershave. Also trying to get this Omega broken in. Two lathers and I see split hairs already. Good start.

• Prep: Warm shower and St Ives oatmeal face wash (not pictured)

Received the bowl as Christmas gift from my daughter and love it. Would like another as whips up lather in no time but almost as expensive as a scuttle and already have two scuttles on the shelf and cant bring myself to justify the cost. Don't know why as I don't have a problem buying another razor

Everyone says the BET is a mild shaver, but this thing TEARS ME UP. I've tried a dozen different blades in it, and the results are always the same: too many nicks and weepers to count, highly irritated skin on my neck, and stubble everywhere.

Got a great BBS shave this morning. TOBS Almond shave cream, Edwin Jagger DE87 razor with Astra SP blade, self-made silvertip badger brush. Post-shave was cold water, Thayer's Witch Hazel, followed by Ogallala Bay Rum aftershave.

After: Home made ASB, Grey Flannel after shave balm

Another Darn Fine Shave. The Vie Long whipped up the MWF into a thick and stable lather. The Velvet Shaver and the Cobra worked their magic. The Grey Flannel ASB moisturizes my face and the Grey Flannel will have me smelling good for the rest of the day.

Your Daughter has great taste; that is one impressive bowl. I know what you mean Guy, I have five scuttles and about the same number of lather bowls. They are like cloth hangers; they seem to multiply at an alarming rate.

Overall another very good shave. ever so slight tugging started on 1st pass, by the 3rd a lot of tugging but no irritation and a close shave. Finishing with the VEG, very refreshing....

I'm really lovin' these Wilkinson Sword Blades. I've had them in the drawer for a long time and haven't really used them until recently. My favorites are the Crystals and Astra SP's but, these Wilkinson Swords are right up there to complete the blade triumvirate.

Very interesting setting for your SOTD photo! I know I have seen that bridge before, so I had to look at the Google map. Is it the Highway 1 bridge over Vancouver Harbor? Last year my wife and I rode the Trans Canada train out of Vancouver, and we spent some time waiting and moving slowly on the tracks along the harbor. We went under that bridge.
