    Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

Oh boy - guess who's going to freeze his face off and have lots of fun doing it......Yupp, it's little old ME! That Glacial Lemon Chill soap with its great lemony/intense menthol scent and nice, slick lather together with a truckload of menthol never fails me. The post-shave feeling is also heavenly because not only does my face feel frozen, it feels so moisturized and comfortable. A nice massage with the Gold Bond moisturizer feels so good and fresh and a couple of slaps of the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel will make the chill last just about the whole day. Today I got BBS and I'm predicting the same thing for tomorrow. ;) :D

    Saturdays shave

I have too ill to shave the last few days and the resulting build up of stubble has been a real annoyance.
Luckily I was able to smoothly and comfortably cut away all the unwanted stubble with the great combination of a a Pils razor with a Vokshod blade. The shave was made all the better with the fantastic and fresh D.R. Harris Windsor lather.
It feels great to shave again.
    Have a great weekend gents.

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog Original face wash

    Soap/cream- KLAR KABINETT

    Brush- Semogue boar 1470

    Razor- Gillette Slim adjustable(5)

    Blade- LADAS

Post- Cold water rinse, Alum block, Aqua Velva Ice blue and Nivea original aftershave balm

Second time using Klar Kabinett, when I opened the the container the Rose scent just punched me in the face, amazing scent!

My first Semogue! First time lathering with the Semogue 1470, right now what I have to say about it is that it is different. I test lathered with it a couple of times to speed up the break in process.

I still haven't tuned in the soap and the brush so I didn't get the closest shave. But however it was comfortable and I'm not presentable.

The Klar kabinett performed pretty good considering I wasn't nice to it hahaha. I had a couple days of growth, that's tough on any soap, razor, and blade combo. But I really like this soap already and the subtle rose scent. I need to load a little more next time though =D

I have a question to all of you who have tried LADAS blades. I find the bevels a little weird, you can actually SEE with the naked eye that the bevels are not the same. I put the blade in my slim and and shaved on one side, flipped the razor to shave but it was skipping. Annoying! I opened my slim and flipped the blade, and tried shaving again and it worked perfectly. Has anyone had this problem with the LADAS or any other blade?

Like most of my shaves, the scent I used today was prompted by conversations I had yesterday.

L'Occitane Cade with a HUGE amount of TOBS Rose for a wonderfully overpowering Rose scent
    Rapira Platinum Lux
    Slim Adjustable

I've never seen that on a Ladas blade, or on any other blade. I looked at a couple of used Ladas and a couple of new ones also. I don't see what you are seeing. It this on all of the Ladas blades you have or only on one?

I've never notice, haven't had an issue yet! I've used 100 Ladas. You could have gotten a bad blade? I'll check in two days, I'll use a Ladas.

Prep: warm wash and Cornhusker's Lotion
    Lather: TSD Grey Vetiver type
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M
    Razor: Schick J1
    Blade: Schick
Post: Captain's Choice Cat O' Nine Tails

I received a fantastic box of shaving happiness from @RaZorBurn123 yesterday. The box included a Whooosetheman pinecone soap, a plethora of DE blades, a nice Schick J1 injector razor and 2 keys with blades. Thanks Kerry! I just had to give the injector a try this morning to see what its all about. I think I last shaved with an injector razor in the early 1980's when I had a Schick Stick so this was a real treat.

The mild J1 gave me no surprises and I think I will enjoy it. I guess that SE razors take a little dialing in as far as technique because I didn't get my neck as clean as I would like, but all in all it was a Darn Fine Shave with the light weight SE razor. I think I will use it again tomorrow while I take a little hiatus from my February blade focus.

On a side note, the Vie-Long brush and TSD Grey Vetiver type soap made a great slick face lather combo. The only problem is that I broke through the bottom of the puck and am afraid that I only have about a week's worth of shaves left with this limited edition soap. I sure like it.

Soap: Jobbs Men Revolution Aloe Vera [IMG]

It was an excellent shave with BBS result! I think, I should have started using Yuma years ago. I also noticed one thing about aloe vera. If I use any shaving product with aloe vera it soothes and moistures my skin very well.
