I don't know about sitting strangely in the slim. That's what I use and haven't noticed anything like what you describe.

Today that was the case. The only unfortunate part of today is that my tube of Tet-a-Tet ASB is done.
That's exactly what Cade adds to the mix - awesome lather. I find the lather produced by TOBS to be less than I want. Cade adds the slickness and cushioning that changes the TOBS Rose from good to great.

today's shave( on the road) hot water wash with nivea men's pur-tech synthetic/whipped dog handle La Toja shave stick Gillette fatboy(d4)(7) feather(1) ICED Aqua Velva ice blue today's shave was strange, you get very used to your own bathroom. pur-tech face lathered Latoja well. fatboy got three passes nicely, although in a little tall for the mirror. finished with iced ice blue. there's no place like home. hope y'all did as well, or better.

7 Feb 2015 Pre - Corn Huskers Soap - RR XXX Brush - WD Silvertip 24/50 Razor - 66 Slim Adj (6,5,4) Blade - Ladas (3) AS - Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve Great shave today, DFS+...almost BBS all over. Amazing 1 week in using the slim adj daily and very noticeably improved results.
