Hi all! I have been dabbling with wet shaving for about a month now, started out by reading threads before actually making the change. As a 55 year old using the "latest and greatest" shaving systems for my shaving life, I did had a bit of a transition, but I am really enjoying my new morning ritual! What I am using: Edwin Jagger DE89lbl Perfecto badger brush Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandlewood cream and Everyman Jack aftershave on weekdays Proraso eucalyptus/menthol preshave, shaving cream and shaving cream and aftershave balm on weekends. I have a blade sampler that I am currently evaluating using a bracket method. It has 10 different blades, 5 each, so I can run a good blade tournament! Thanks to all for a great board! MSC
Welcome to the Den! You'll find no shortage of great people willing to help with advice and support. It looks like you've got a nice set up already and I like your blade bracket plan. I'll be curious to see who wins for you!
Glad you found us. I lived in South Cackalacky for 35 years. We just moved to North Cackalacky about two years ago. Be sure to mark your location on the TSD map - instructions here.
Welcome! You won't go wrong with the DE89. Give the whole process a little bit of time and you will be rewarded with great shaves!
Welcome from Canada. TOBS Sandalwood was my first wet shaving cream as well. The lavander is really good too..and the grapefruit and the avocado......
Welcome to the den, Mike! Do you live close to Aiken? That's where I'm currently living. I work in Columbia.
