    Nivea Men's Face Wash
    Cella
    Jayaruh WC3 Pure Badger
    Gillette Fat Handle Tech
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    FD Old Spice AS

The Cella Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC3 Pure Badger Brush. Two passes with my Gillette Fat Handle Tech and a Personna Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then FD Old Spice after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

You're correct, sir, there is visibly a bit more width exposed when shut, which explained the increased resonance of the blade. They do rest a bit flatter (necessitating my Dremeling down the centerbar) but eyeballing the end result, it looked negligible. It wasn't! But the shim has made it right again (or close enough).

A lot of people do not understand that the Ranger Tech carries on with the handle that was used in the Sheration / Senator series, but is completely different from the earlier models in terms of shave. The door width and head geometry, even if it did not change from comb to guard bar, would have been change enough, but the guard bar made it a trio of changes. The Ranger Tech head design carried forth into the Super Speed with a new handle. Those three classes of razors shave differently due to the mix of components, which for each changed geometry, exposure, and center of gravity (balance).

    Planned shave for Wednesday morning:

With some more arctic air moving in tomorrow morning I've decided to reduce the menthol for my shave, but that doesn't mean I'm cutting it out altogether. The Ice & a Slice soap from England is still pretty darned cold, and does it ever smell great. Its lather is also good, although it requires a bit of an effort to get it just right but it's still very pleasant to work with once you get the knack of it. The Proraso Green aftershave cools and soothes very well, so I'm expecting another nice shave. ;) :D

You may love it! I hope you do. Captain's Choice makes a better aftershave IMO, I've read very positive reviews about the soap, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. The maker of the soap is Seifenglatt, if you like this soap and want to try some different flavors :) they have a Etsy page, they sell some soaps at a discount.

    WEDNESDAY
    Evening Shave for Tomorrow
Second consecutive day with the same synthetic brush & MdC soap. Add a super smooth-slicing razor = a top drawer shaving experience!
Three passes with minor touch up resulted in a darn near-BBS. Highly enjoyable! Only downside when finished is having to wait another 24-hours to repeat the experience! :D
Fairly international shaving experience: American razor w/ German blade; French soap, Chinese knot with Israeli handle & Italian post-shave….

Have a great Hump day, everyone!
