Thank You! I am just having a little fun and taking some shots around town when I have a little time.
Celestino has beautiful surroundings that are such a joy to view that I thought I would return the favor and try to add a few shots of my surroundings while still keeping my shave of the day items as the focal point.

So will I. I'm thinking either the trashcans by the muni station or the dumpsters next to McD.
I pass by a lot of scenery in the morning :)

Mastro Livi Ladder Damasteel, 6/8 Full Hollow, French Point

Yet another impeccable shave. In my opinion, Damasteel is one of the most aggressive steels used by Mastro Livi for the making of his straight razors, and this is something I generally like. Not to mention the pleasure of Floïd aftershave, in my opinion one of the very best around. I also like the fragrance of "The Genuine" - also known as the amber colored Italian Floïd - not just a smell of old barber shops, but also a smell I consider both elegant and fragrant. Last but not the least, the pleasing almond scent of TFS soap, simply reinforcing the idea of an old Italian barber shop.

Another excellent shave. Seifenglatt is an unsung performer. Easy to lather and protective. Der Vorschlaghammer comfortably removed my stubble leaving my face smooth and ready to finish with KFBR. Great scent and great skincare all around.

    Brush: HIS XL

    PSO: Palmer's oil
    lather: Cella
    brush: Omega 31064
    blade: Ladas (1)
    razor: Schick Krona
finish: HolyRollah's awesome DIY balm >here<

OK, there's a small chance that my new razors will start showing today, but most likely tomorrow. For today's transition, I decided to take a walk on the mild side: Schick Krona. It's been a while. Today's shave was like watching one of your favorite movies that you haven't seen in a long time. You know the kind, where you end up saying "Man, that is a good movie! I had forgotten how good it is.." That was today. 2 pass BBS par excellence!

Though the results were great, I still had room for operator error. I told myself going in that, since the Krona is milder than my most recent shaves, I should be careful to avoid applying pressure or too many strokes. Did I take good advice? Not me, brother! Fortunately, I wasn't so heavy handed that Kevin's balm couldn't remedy any consequences.

Do you guys ever notice your TTOs loosening just a bit during your shave? I don't know exactly what I do, but I find that my TTO doors frequently need just a little snugging into place. It could be part of what makes me favor 3 piece DEs... but I sure like the Krona! I doubt I'll thin it from the herd in my eventual den purge. It's a keeper.

3 easy and quick passes and all is well. I am impressed with the Shark blade so far. Remains extremely smooth.

Prep: Hot shower w/ Grandpa's Pine Tar
    Soap: Cella
    Brush: Omega 13522
Razor: '46-'50 Gillette Heavy Gold Tech
    Blade: store brand Israeli Personna
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Scent: Pinaud Clubman

Good shave today. Not sure I care much for the Cella. Smells nice and I got good lather but I feel like other products are more protective of my face. Also, my skin felt kinda tight and dry after, where as with Arko and KMF it feels nice and moisturized. Still have some sample left so I'll probably give it another shot at some point.

Very comfortable, effective shave from the Gem Junior. Ready to go to the Building Permit Dept and have a go with them. Trying to build a new home and they don't want to cooperate. They will when they see what a fine shave I have.

I had trouble getting the Nanny's Ice & a Slice soap to lather up this morning. It was thin and watery although it felt very chilly and protective. I can't understand why this happened. I still had a pretty good shave.

Very nice work day 3 pass shave. I really like these Kai Sharp blades. They seem to combine the best parts of the Kai Mild and Feather Pro blades. It will be interesting to see how the different of the blades work.
