wow...lot of nice firearms here. Here is my pre model K22, a 5 screw made in 1953. The razor is my Fat Boy E1 from 1959. I would say the 50's were pretty good.

 

Thought it was time to get old school, complete with speed loader.

Love the vintage models, though - great craftsmanship.

Naaah - my 686 is easily as accurate as a friends Python and made every bit as well. Do admit, his Python is much nicer looking and worth about 4x as much!

 

I would take smith over a colt any day!

 

Let's not forget about Ruger. Not as pretty as a Smith but very strong and tough. Some of the stuff I shoot through mine would probably stretch the frame on a Smith.

 

I agree. I have had my Ruger Security Six .357 for 25+ years. I have replaced the spring once. It is a tack driver.

I just added a new Sig Sauer P229 .40 S&W to the stable.

 

My trusty S&W .38 special and the Dovo gentleman.

 

My EDC and a razor I've yet to use... (Sig P239 and Fontenille 134 frameback)

Do you roll your own .357 rounds?

 

Yes, I load for target as well as full power loads. I also load .357 velocity in a .38 case for action shooting as they extract faster and load with speed loaders better.

 

What bullet weight are you using for action shooting? Are you flattening your primers? That's a lot of powder in a 38sp.
