1. Tried some Peet's House Blend this morning. A bit milder than the Major. Not sure I care for it.
  2. Yes, that is coffee.

You put flour in a bowl, you call it flour. Add milk, sugar and eggs you call it batter. Why? It is no longer flour.
Same with coffee. Put in it what you want, just don't call it coffee.

It's your beverage. Enjoy it your way. :eatdrink013:

  3. Then I'm manly everyday!
Since I'm poor and don't have a coffee maker, I just boil some water, pour some coffee in a pot, and boil it and wait til the grounds settle to the bottom of the pan. Then I drink it.

But my mom did say that she would get me a French press for my birthday next month.

  4. A single cup pour over isn't bad either. The trouble with a french press is you need a course grind and you need to clean it.

  5. By that logic, putting salt, pepper, and a char on a rib-eye makes it something other than a steak, since that's what it's called when raw. . . .

  9. Colombian....cream, no sugar. I'd put Peet's, Dunkin, Maxwell House, and Martinson's as my top 4.

  12. Cup of Folgers with about a spoon full of vanilla cream, no sugar. Starts my day off right.
On hot summer mornings I've grown fond of grabbing a vanilla Ice coffee from my local Jacks near my work place. It really hits the spot

  13. It should be mine too...I'm working on it! I'm putting in less and less cream each day. I never was a fan of sugar in coffee-it was like drinking a candy bar.
  14. Yes!! Hot and black, not cold and creamy! :eatdrink013:

  15. I drink coffee as the Good Lord intended. Undiluted. black. No sweetener nor creamer.

EXCEPTION: if I am offered an iced coffee, I'll ask for some milk to be added. Otherwise, its just cold coffee…...:sick007:
  16. Work days, just honey dew regular. When home my 2 absolute favorites are ethiopian with yerba mate and real kona.
The ethiopian I only seam to find once a year at whole foods and I cherish every drop for taste and the history. It is where coffe began after all. Kona has to be ordered from the big island to get fresh whole been and 100%. Not that 10% with 90% crap. One dollop raw local honey and a splash of cream. Love tea as well,do yourselves a favor and lookup teavana, you can thank me later.
  17. Strong and black.

    Like my women.

  19. Since I've been roasting my own for several years now, I've come to appreciate a lighter roast. Not only are there more flavor nuances, but there is also more caffeine.

Fact - the darker the roast, the less caffeine.

Enjoy it how you like it, but as I said, for me it has to be hot and black.
