I am also starting to like the look. At first, I didn't, but now, it is starting to appeal to me and it is really improving the shaves with most of my stainless steel razor heads for some reason. The machinist uses aluminum to see how the razors will look before using the stainless steel. I was fortunate that he had a surplus one!
Saturday's shave I needed to wake up so went with a menthol shave. A lovely shave with the Pils/Sputnik combination. Pre shave - Proraso Green Pre shave Razor - Pils DE Brush - L'occitane Plisson Synthetic Lather - Proraso Green Aftershave - Proraso Green Pre shave & Williams ice blue.
It is shaving pretty good. I want to get it shaving great, and that is why I want to try the 30 day test.
Saturn's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm Brush: Beeline Boar Soap: Speick cream Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Blade: Bolzano Superinox (4) Passes: WTG, XTG (9, 10) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Speick AS splash Cologne: Ispazon by Parfums de Marley The biggest problem I have with putting Speick as my default Saturday cream/soap is that Saturdays are generally the ones when I'm least motivated to shave. As a result, it gets skipped more than it deserves. I remembered to reach for it today; unfortunately, I forgot that the blade in my 41c was on life support yesterday. Excellent lather whipped up, even with my cheap boar, but it couldn't save the shave from tugging too much. Two bloodless passes, and I was done, with DFS results. The Speick aftershave made much of the tugging's irritation go away. I really want to like the leather scent of the Ispazon sample, but it has enough of a patchouli note that I'm glad it's just a sample.

Yeah, I've seen those. Gotta keep searching. Funny, but as soon as I think I've reached the end of my RAD list it gets longer again!

Sorry for my late answer. Unfortunately I can't help you because I haven't got Floid. I started my Myrsol adventure from the Agua Balsamica and at the moment I have 4 different Myrsol's (Agua Balsamica, Antesol, Plastic Shave and F./Extra). My favorite one from is probably the Plastic Shave. I know it's pink (favorite color of my daughter) and maybe the rose and talc scent it's not the best but in combination with Jabonman Rosas shaving soap works very good on my skin. F./Extra dries my skin a little but the scent is more acceptable by my wife I found that aftershave's which contain Sorbitol works much better for my skin and maybe that's the reason why I like them. My number one AS is still the blue Speick Men but Plastic Shave is very close or maybe this two waters are even equal to me. On The Pleasure of Shaving blog, Dr Dulcamara write short review's about all Myrsol aftershave's, so you can read this blog and pick something for you. The glass bottle looks great but if want it cheaper, you can buy 1 liter bottle and share between friends. I don't know where you live I can send you small samples.

02/21: I tried a few new things today. This was my first OC shave and of course the first time using the Big Boy. It was the first time using the Cade cream. And, it may have been my first “true” 100% BBS shave. The De Luxe is amazing!I am in a bit of a shock over how easily I went from 2 day Wookie to BBS. It’s smooth and left no irritation. The weight, balance, handle, and aggression all combine perfectly. I may not even need to shave tomorrow. The Cade easily produced enough lather from a small almond sized dollop for my needs (WTG, XTG, plus ATG touchup) and I could have gone for 4 full passes. I read a lot of reviews about how horrible it lathers and even saw a video proving it. But, this new formula is slick, thick, and cushy. IMO it’s better than Proraso and TOBS. Or, it may just be the afterglow.
