    Pre - Corn Huskers
    Soap - RR XXX
    Brush - WD Silvertip 24/50
    Razor - 66 Slim Adj (7,5,3)
    Blade - Voskhod (1)
    AS - Pinaud Clubman
Good shave today. Tried the Voskhod (courtesy of answering a mini quiz offered by @NCoxSTL ) and overall nice shave. Seems about the same as Ladas in the adjustable. Will be interested in how they perform in my other razors.

Kiss My Face Cool Mint moisture shave
    Jayaruh WC1 Silver Tip
    Schick Krona
    Personna Super Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block

    Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla

The Kiss My Face Cool Mint moisture shave face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC1 Silver Tip Brush. Two passes with my Schick Krona and a Personna Super Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    SOTD: SUNDAY, 2-22-15

    Razor: 1907 Single Ring
    Blade: Voskhod
Brush: Strong Set (Whipped Dog Black Pure Badger)
    Soap: Maggard London Barbershop
    AS: Barbasol Pacific Rush

Shave number 3 with the Single Ring. #1 and #2 were very close, very smooth, very comfortable. Except that with the Astra SP blade I always, always, always cut myself under the chin. Never happens with any other blade. Must be user error. So, tomorrow I switch to a Voskhod blade based on the praise I've heard at TSD.

This razor is amazingly light and comfortable, I really like it and it's become a favorite already.

That razor is so bright that it looks replated. Each photo of it has been fantastic.

Thanks so much! I feel very lucky that it looks that good. A tiny bit of brass on the combs and the end of the cap and that's it.

Saturday morning shave. Nothing on the agenda, with the exception of a lunch date with my 11 year old grandaughter. I'll try to include a brief review of some of the products, as I just received them. (Hope I'm not breaking a rule here :D)

    Razor: RazorRock Mission
    Brush: Semogue 1305
    Blade: Voskhodhave used
    Pre-Shave: Home-Brew Lavender shave oil
    Soap: TSD Lanolin, Lavender
AS: TSD after shave splash, Lavender

After looong hot shower, prepped with pre-shave oil, using recipe found in the tutorial section. I've used this roughhly a half dozen times. This appears to aid in reducing irritation, especially using multi pass shaves.
Lathered up with the TSD soap. I've only used this soap a couple of times. I love the scent (lavender) and this soap lathers easily. The lather is rich and slick and leaves your face feeling moisturized, which is really appreciated in this dry cold air we're suffering with.
This is the first try with the Voskhod blade. I only have experience using Astra, Rapira, and Treet. This blade gave a great 3 pass shave with touch ups. No irritation or other face damage. We'll have to see how this goes with subsequent uses.
Then after a cold water rinse; a liberal splash of TDS after shave. I don't know the ingredients on this, however the alcohol content must be low. No noticeable burn, feels like some moisturizer in here(?) Wonderful lavender scent, which really mellows once it dries down.
Great shave, great lunch date, and great products for TSD! I'm really glad I gave these products a shot. Excellent performance at an exceptional price! :thanks:

    Sunday's Planned SOTD 2/22/15

    Razor: Joris Thuja Wood
    Blade: PoliSilver (NOS Vintage) (D14)
    Brush: Semogue Ash SOC Boar
    Bowl: Symmetrical Pottery Shave Bowl
Pre Shave Scrub: SPAtopia Dead Sea Scrub
Pre Shave Oil: Pacific Shaving Iced
Shave Soap: Catie's Bubbles Le Piment de la Vie
    Post: Monster Alum Block

AS Soothing Cream: Handmade Soap Co. Soothing Cream
    Aftershave: HTGAM Coconut Bay Rum

Not even 10PM and ready to hit the sack, I must be getting old. Not getting any sleep on my overnight business trip and then getting up this morning at 4:30 to do some lake fishing only for the 3 of us to be skunked made for a long day. At least I had a hot shower and BBS shave before heading out the door. I believe I picked out a nice lineup for tomorrow mornings shave.

    Evening Shave For Tomorrow
Early start in the morn, so an evening shave is always a good idea. A couple of little secrets to success I've found when trying to get consistent, thick lather from MWF is: pre-moisten the puck, but don't over-saturate it (see damp puck in photo) and use a fairly dry boar brush, adding water as you build the lather. It does take some practice, but I've found this method generates the best amount of 'the good stuff' for which MWF is famous.
    Have a blessed Sunday!

Last nights Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog Original face wash, Sandalwood bar soap

Soap/cream- Colonel Conk Bay rum shaving soap

    Brush- Semogue 1470 boar

    Razor- Merkur 37c

    Blade- Astra SP

Post- Cold water rinse, Lucky tiger Bay Rum aftershave lotion and mentholated Nivea sensitive aftershave balm

Im not sure what I feel about this Semogue brush. It needs a bit more breaking in, but if it continues to be like it is now, I will buy another boar in July =P

Colonel has a really nice bay rum scent. But the 2 times I have used the soap i have found myself reloading for my third pass. I will try loading more next time.

One of the reasons you need to reload is that your boar isn't completely broken in yet

First time i used it was with my badger silvertip but that time I know I loaded to little.

When I used the boar on the other hand I loaded much more. Is that true? That it's because it is not broken in yet? It sounds reasonable.

I had a broken in omega, promised it to my little brother when I got this semogue from Kerry. I know it needs to break in much more so I'm not judging it yet. But it feels as lot different than the omega I had =P im hoping it will be different good and not different bad =)
