    02/22/15 February Focus on Blades
    Prep – MR GLO
    Razor - Mongoose Satin B2
Blade – Feather Super Pro (1)
Brush – Rubberset 400 with Omega Boar
    Lather – Soap Commander Confidence
Post - Witch Hazel and Dove AS Balm

First time for me using the Feather Super Blade. This blade is thicker and longer than the other blades available for the Goose making the blade exposure and the gap larger. I could tell this is more aggressive set up as I shaved today. More efficient on the first pass and closer shave overall. A 2 pass shave with touch ups yielded a BBS shave. One weeper on my neck but overall not the blood bath I had feared.

SaTURDay evening shave before heading out for Indian cuisine.

I shaved with my Engelswerk 42 tonight. The full hollow grind and the pointed toe make you really pay attention. Not a beginner razor, that's for sure.

    Pre-shave - hot shower
Razor - Engelswerk 42 pointed tip
    Soap - Proraso red
    Brush - Omega 80625
    Alum - Razorock
    Aftershave - Clubman
    Balm - Nivea Energy
Cologne - Tesori D'Oriente "Legno di Guajaco"

During today's shave I skipped the pre-shave oil and did notice that the shave was less smooth than usual. This was a minor difference, but still noticeable.

My shave yesterday was so nice that I decided to use the same set up. Same excellent results. Krampert's soap and aftershave work together to make my face feel cool and comfortable.
    Off to church.

Thank you. It is my only one and I really like it. I actually traded my MWF for it. I got tired of trying to acquire one so a TSD member and I came to an agreement. He got my MWF and I got this fine shaver. I recently made another trade with a new member where I will be getting an MWF refill. I will be glad to get it back into my rotation.
