Was waiting on a Merkur 38hd barber pole and i received it today! i see a nice shave in my future before church Sunday!

 

I'm still waiting on my 5x50ml plastic spray bottles from China. They seem to be taking a lot longer this time around.

Sadly I will not as there is a rough spot on the underside of the top cap that results in a wavy blade. No more merkurs for this guy.

 

finaly took the journey down the road they call "feather"....now the long wait until they land at my door, and see if they are as sharp/awesome as everyone seems to think....also got a GBS 100% pure badger because amazon sure knows how to put "things I might like" on my screen before I check out....dont know a whole lot about it, but it was cheap and got 5 stars

 

That stinks. I've heard they really bend the blade, which is my theory for why I like the Fatboy wide open so much. But yeah, the expensive pot metal razors have always seemed like a risk to me.

 

Some vintage glass bottles to arrive, so that I can ditch some of the tacky plastic ones. So far I've managed to locate several Royall Lyme bottles, a pinaud, and a couple vintage cologne decanters.

 

Picked up these three razors for $17 - still need to identify them...

 

A new travel kit coming in under $30. If the razor is junk, it looks like I'll get a travel case for $7
Also have a 10 pack of Feather blades coming on a slow boat from China. Won't be here till the middle of March

Still waiting on my last order of 100 Voskhods from Moscow. I know they left Russia on the 15th. NO word since. Must have found the slow boat. Just ordered 200 more blades from my best supplier. Those are earmarked to end up in other people's shave dens in the near future.

 

Wouldn't worry too much quite yet. I recently had a shipment that for some odd reason was held up in Ohio for 5 days. Go figure.
