TD Tuesday
Solid shave with Test Depth today. It lathers very easily and the scent is classy. It pairs well with Gondolier. My Aristocrat is a very good razor. Nice and smooth with the Voskhod blade. I had some irritation at the bottom of my neck from too much touch up. I'll know better next time.

CC Habana today. 30 seconds to load the ER Silvertip. Good, easy, thick, lather. Personna Med Prep still in the NEW SC. Nice smooth, close, shave. I finished Country Club Southern Oud.

  The Dr Selby Luxury SC looks, smells and feels the same as the 3X SC in a bowl. Just not as dense. Works well though and had a fine shave

 

I must say I had a most delightful shave with my Glacial Lavender soap. My large Turkish horsehair barbershop brush whipped up some terrific lather which froze my face off, and gave a lovely lavender scent with brilliant skincare. Man, I'm crazy about that soap!

I like these blades about as well as P74s but they're much harder to get a hold of, even if they are cheaper.

 

I had a wonderful 3 pass shave today. Superior lather with superior technique and great equipment translates into a superior shave.

TUESDAY
My first go with a 'fresh off the bench' Case Red Imp, 5/8 Square point.
I had disassembled this razor some time ago and finally got around to getting it all put back together after a thorough cleaning, painting and honing. I used the Escher for finishing the edge.
For the inaugural shave, I used MdC Fougére applied with my Eveready boar brush. Very smooth 3-pass shave! Finished with Ogallala Bay Rum AS. A superb shave!

Also, I had been stropping on cotton duck over the weekend and just got my SRD red latigo / poly webbing strop yesterday. I put it to work and got the most magical shave this morning as hairs just seemed to pop off of their own accord.

I like the looks of that slant, i might go that direction when i get get bored of straights.
