Merkur HD w/Feather Omega 6235 DR Harris Lavender (old formulation) Aqua Velva Blue w/EO blend I never knew a shaving cream could make such luxurious lather! I've always been a soap man but this is making me pause. It was thick and rich like some kind of Colombian chocolate. Great stuff! I suppose I shouldn't talk since I rarely post in SoS but there aren't too many pictures guys.. EDIT: I should add that I have a meager stash so it'd be pretty boring to show the same stuff over and over again.

Thursday: Omega Silvertip Parker 22R V1/Russian Gillette day 3 Vintage Shavallo S/S Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Booster Mosswood A/S Yves Saint-Laurent Pour Homme EDT These Gillette blades work surprisingly well--they're also very forgiving, similar to the Sharps. They shave very nice and close as well.

It's transparent, so I don't know where I need to shave and where I've already beedn, I don't know how much water this stuff needs, how thick it has to be applied etc. My first shave with it today was smooth, but with some noticeable irritation on the neck courtesy of going ofver the same spot twice...

A few firsts in this shave: Treet Blue Special blade and the Italian Palmolive SC - a wonderful shave. And the Ogallala Bay Rum Cologne may just convert me to being a Bay Rum fan. Not bad for 2 oz of cologne for $5 delivered!!!!

Went back and used the The Gentlemen's Quarter Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee Glycerin Shave Soap. Much better lather this time. I switch brushes from the Omega Boar Brush to the C&E BBB Brush. Finished off the shave with Lucky Tiger Bay Rum Aftershave. Much kinder and softer than the Pinaud Bay Rum.
For the price of blades nowadays why would you want to extend past 4-5 days. Back when I used Swedish Gillette's, which to me are the best blades, I never went over 5 days. Even now when I use a DE with an Israeli for touch-ups I never go over 4 days. Just a thought. Raf
