Today was a nice 3 pass shave. I only did three passes because I liked the lather so much. I could have easily gotten away with 2 passes. improved PDP Voskhod blade slim adjustable

Friday, February 27, 2015 Soap: Mike's Natural unscented Brush: Oscar11 HIS synthetic Razor: Feather AS-D2 Blade: Super Iridium After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion I can depend on Mike's soap for excellent performance. During my second pass, the razor was gliding so effortlessly that I had to verify that I had the correct angle. Sure enough, the blade was taking down whiskers, I just didn't feel it! I had a outstanding shave experience going until I was careless and over enthusiastic and gave myself a tiny nick on the chin.
2/27/15 Prep: warm wash and Cornhusker's Lotion Lather: Leftovers amalgamation Brush: BodyShop synthetic Razor: Gillette New LC Blade: Feather (2) Post: cool rinse and Ogallala Bay Rum This was as good a shave as I ever get. Lather was amazing - might have something to do with this little cheap synthetic brush! 3 easy passes. The wife said, "You smell good," as I entered the living room. That may be the biggest reward of all!
Friday, February 27, 2015 Normal, disappointing shave. Blah, blah, blah. I added 4 drops of tea tree oil to my C.O. Bigelow. It helped the shave, but the scent completely overpowered the eucalyptus of the C.O.B. Smelled like I was shaving with something from my mechanic's garage.

My other one is built on "Old" parts. Check yesterday's SOTD for that razor. I really like the way these razors look, and they both shave me milder than my Gillette Old Type Open Comb. I whipped up the Maca nice scent, with the WD Silvertip , in my favorite mug. First pass WTG going slow and very nice glide with no pressure with this light razor. Very nice! Second pass XTG on my face and then ATG on my neck. The Maca was nice and slick and helped get a great shave. A little touchup on my neck, and done. Great razor! Very smooth! The WH felt good and then some JB. After cleanup some great Vintage OS Lime. I tried some of the "New" OS Lime, and it is not even close. Very disappointed.

Man, did that Glacial Lavender soap ever freeze the daylights out of me and the lather explodes off my brush in seconds now. At first I had some trouble getting it going, but since I left it out for a week or so to allow it to cure more it improved the lathering ability 1,000%. I absolutely LOVE that soap.
