February 28 Plans Stirling Sheep facial soap Feather Artist Club razor Feather Professional blade (day 4) RV Shaving handle with a 24/46 mm Shavemac Two-band Silvertip knot Stirling Naked and Smooth shave soap & D.R. Harris Almond shave cream Two passes Alum, Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, & unrefined shea butter I will put my Feather Artist Club razor away for awhile after tomorrow's shave. This razor reminded me of the importance of good prep and post, taking my time, stretching my skin, and having a very gentle touch. I can enjoy a close and comfortable two-pass shave with this set up, and that was my goal for February. I very much enjoyed seeing all the wonderful SOTD photos and posts this month! March Madness begins on Sunday with my Merkur 37C slant bar razor loaded with a Feather blade and a boar brush! Have a great weekend, all!
For Saturday morning: (Unless I change my mind!) Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/SuperMax Blue day 6 Stirling Glacial Lavender SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Fahrenheit EdT So far this will be my set-up for tomorrow morning. I'm head over heels in love with my Glacial Lavender soap - it gave me so much pleasure this morning when I was lathering up with it. The scent is so beautiful and captivating because it's not only the intense, overwhelming menthol which you get, it's also the refined and classy lavender. As I've said before - the freezing sensation is off the charts, so unless you can handle menthol at this level, don't touch this soap. It was myself who asked Rod to create a hyper-mentholated soap with a lavender scent and he did the job beautifully. The Gold Bond and the Penguin will keep that freeze going all day. The only thing I might change in this set-up, if I change would be the Glacial Lavender for the Glacial Lemon Chill which I also love.

YMMV is true. I picked them because of what I've read here. I may give them another chance, but that one shave was my must uncomfortable in 10 months of DE shaving.
I also tried them, hoping for something great. Tried 3 shaves. No irritation just not very efficient. I may try again with a different razor.
Same here. I've given Voskhods plenty of chance but they are just not very smooth. They are very choppy for me.
I have satisfied myself with two passes and maybe touch-ups. Face-lathering is fun, saves time, and is invigorating.
Friday evening, Feb.27, 2015 Schick E2 Injector with Schick blade (4), Semogue 1305 boar bristle brush, lather-up with TABAC – shave 1 pass, finish with cold water, Witch Hazel and Pinaud's Clubman for a CCS! I've been really enjoying my one-pass shaves with my Schick E2 Injector, it's aggressive enough for one-pass! My face feels like heaven every night as I head to work as a janitor at a hospital. My kit is inspired by Nick (wknicholas) of whom I haven't seen here in awhile. I miss him!
