Saturday: hot shower w/London Eucalyptus Aloe bar soap Homemade PSO StickSchick 2 passes Personna Platinum Chrome (2) Semogue 1305 boar Gold Dachs Sport soap in a warm mug Thayers unscented w/aloe Arko Aqua AS gel I didn't have time to shave yesterday but I was inspired by @gwsmallwood and his suggestion that we incorporate a racing theme. I haven't bought a NASCAR model in quite a few years so the cars pictured aren't current. I had a lot of stubble today but my StickSchick didn't have any trouble mowing it down as I worked through the gears and the Gold Dachs soap provided plenty of cushiony glide both in the corners and down the straightaway. I wanna thank all my sponsors; Schick, Personna, Semogue, Gold Dachs, Thayers, and Arko, for giving me the opportunity to shave with them today and I also wanna thank all you guys in my shave den crew for cheering me on. It was a good shave right from the start and when I made that final turn to cross the finish line my face was as smooth as an oil slick.

today's shave hot water wash with nivea men's Parker pure badger barbershop tallow soap Pyrate' cove lavender Gillette slim(g4)(7) persona lab(2) ICED Aqua Velva ice blue today's shave was a bit of work. I felt obliged to use a razor, soap, mug,a friend bought for me. all items were cleaned yesterday and ready for service today. the barbershop soap made alot of foamy suds. I gave it one shot, but not rich enough for my liking. I pulled the Pyrate' cove out to stand in. four passes with the new slim left me very smooth, but a little irritated. idk if it's the extra pass or the lavender(haven't been a great fan). finished with ICED ice blue. hope y'all did as well, or better.

it's been my experience that soaking my synthetics is useless. I do it for sake of the ritual of it all. but plastic is either wet or dry. too dry, don't flick it so hard. too wet, flick it a bit harder.
Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (f1) 1960 (5) (3) Brush: Whipped Dog 30/45 Silvertip Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Soap: Pre de Provence Shea Butter soap Blade: Feather (1) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1980 glass AS (gift from my father in law) I loaded the WD Silvertip with the Pre de Provence soap. It took me awhile to whip up some lather, as I'm used to using cream. Got some good lather with a neutral soap scent. WTG XTG on my face and neck on 5. ATG on my neck on 3. Nice and slick and with my FB on 3 for my neck I can buff a little on the hard to get to spots for a very nice smooth shave. Must be the Shea Butter. The vintage OS from my father in law felt great. On a personal note please keep him in your prayers, as he is having a rough patch with his health. On a high note he and his bride just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, wow.
Im with you. Not seeing why all the hype. But the other comments are correct about a quick rinse, flick and go. Maybe we should be selling high before theyre back in stock......
