I've liked just about all the Stirling soaps I have tried. I have probably liked the Ben Franklin the best. The Frozen Tundra and Cocoa Forest are also very good. The Port-au-Prince is growing on me as well.
I have 6 samples and I am really liking the Ozark Mountain right now, but all of the scents smell awesome!
I'm a Stirling newbie. Received my first order today...Sharp Dressed Man. I went with the shave soap, balm and AS. Looking forward to tomorrow morning's shave. I'll definitely have to try some of their other scents...
I also allow the soap to "bloom" while I shower. I had zero problems creating a magnificent lather with very little effort.
I used the Glacial Lavender soap for my shave today and what a wonderful, rich lather it gave me as well as that great freezing sensation. This is my favourite of ALL soaps.
I have used Stirling for some time now. Of the 10 I have tried, Margaritas in the Arctic and Ozark Mountain remain my favorites. That may change tomorrow when I order the new Executive Man soap, AS, and bath soap based on Creed Aventus!
FYI. If you received aa free sample of Aqua DGO with your order it's really witchy woman that has been mislabeled which is a Victoria secret love spell clone. You may want to pass it along to the wife!
Stirling Sharped Dressed Man is a great soap, as far a I am concerned in my top 5 artisans out there. I have also used there bath soap and aftershave both top notch.
This morning I used my Glacial Lavender. This soap is heavenly if you're a menthol lover like I am. When I first received it I must admit it was a bit difficult to lather, but after leaving it uncovered for a couple of weeks that problem was completely solved. Now it lathers like a bomb, and the scent is so beautiful. It not only freezes your face like crazy, it gives such perfect skincare like ALL of the Stirling soaps I've tried.
@ezlovan has done it again! Did you ever believe that Sharp Dressed Man was a great soap? Well its loosely based on Creed Green Irish Tweed. Well, Stirling has based this blockbuster on the $350 Creed Aventus... and MAN DID THEY NAIL IT TO THE WALL! Its actually better in certain aspects of the scent and equal in others. Latherwise, equal to Sharp Dressed Man! Where Sharp Dressed Man grabs your woman by the waist Executive man calls her into the bathroom! YOU MUST GET THIS IF YOU LOVE ANYTHING ABOUT STIRLING! It to me is their pinnacle creation!
If that description doesn't convince me to order Stirling for my next purchase I don't know what will.
I have been using Cocoa Forrest for a few shaves now and find it is becoming my favorite scent. The cocoa pairs nicely with the spivey, woodsy scent. I also get just a hint of vanilla when I lather that seems to round every thing out a bit. The Port-Au-Prince is also growing on me quite a bit. I find this one to be one of the longest lasting soap scents I have. I get whiffs of it for much of the day.
I think for tomorrow morning I'll grab one of Glacials again - which one to go with..................
