I agree that that is one sweet kit!

 

Sadly I had to skip shaving today due to the worst irritation Ive felt since starting DE shaving in November. I tried TOBS Grapefruit shave cream for the first time yesterday and can only think it does not like my face. On top of that I struggled with my Ikon 101 OC trying to get a close shave and over did it big time. My face was still irritated when I went to bed last night. On the bright side I will have a decent growth to tackle tomorrow.

Evening Shave for Tomorrow
Going for the 'spice' factor in tonight's shave—the Black River plays well with the Pumpkin Spice scent of the WSP soap.
Sure, I may wind up smelling like a pot of mulled cider afterwards, but my wife enjoys mulled cider so there ya go!
Another flawless shave from my current favorite razor…

Thanks! That's the original knot. I got it NOS with the box. I may try some outdoor shots when it gets warmer.

Tabac meets Sherlock. The aftershave is a great compliment to the classic Tabac scent. The shave was superb today. I'm still learning this badger - I realized I need to load it longer than my HIS synthetic. I'm also going to try bowl lathering with it at some point, though I prefer face lathering. The New LC was so smooth and easy with the Voskhod blade that I barely felt it. I combined Tabac cream with the soap again, making the first pass lather amazing. My face feels great and I smell great thanks to Sherlock.

Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog Original face wash, Sandalwood bar soap

Soap/cream- Seifenglatt Neroli shaving soap

Brush- Whipped dog 24mm silvertip

Razor- Gillette Slim adjustable(5)

Blade- Astra SP(2)

Post- Cold water rinse, Mentholated Pinaud Clubman Original aftershave lotion and Nivea sensitive cooling aftershave balm

A very nice 2 pass shave with Seifenglatt neroli. I really like the performance and the scent.

I added a very small amount of menthol crystals to a small spray bottle filled with Clubman, it makes a really nice post shave feeling.

I bought a balm yesterday, Nivea sensitive cooling aftershave balm. This is going to replace my soon to be finished Nivea sensitive balm. I cheated and used it before I'm "allowed" to use it. Because I was to curious =) it felt nice, had a slight cooling effect. Which is exactly what I have been looking for =D

I found 2 spots on my neck I didn't get very good with my XTG pass, but it's all good.

today's shave was nice. tobacco Tuesday. the old Merkur paired with voskhod did well. finished with iced musk.

2 passes this morning and less than 10 minutes from start to clean-up. The results are as good as many longer shaves I have had. This is a good combo for my face. I purposely omitted the use of Cornhusker's Lotion to see if it makes any difference. Today, I could not really notice any.
