Received razors today. All were in better condition than I expected. A light cleaning with 409 spray cleaner took off what little grime there was, so all are in fine to near perfect condition. •Pal Adjustable injector with case. Adjuster works fine and it seems to be one of the well-machined ones. A small "melt" spot on the lower end of the plastic handle that a lot of these grips get is all that's wrong with it. Not a scratch anywhere. I look forward to putting it into rotation. •Same with its cousin, the Personna "Star Trek" injector. Very close to unused condition. I think I used one before and found it very mild, I'll have to check again. •A Schick "M" injector with case. Slight pitting on the blade face of the head but otherwise nice and shiny. I know they have their fans but I never really took to these later Schicks, so no loss. Probably won't bother shaving with it, will part with it somehow. •A boxed Techmatic with a half-used cartridge plus a brand new one ready to go. I may revisit this razor, which I've never had luck with in the past. •A spent Wilkinson Bonded. Fantastic shaver but the only cart it comes with is used. Again, no loss considering the good points of this lot. •An unfortunately empty Personna 74 injector mag. All in all, more than worth the just under $20 shipped.
Thanks I've never seen one in real life and was really surprised at how great it felt and looked. I can see why mint versions of this razor sells for such crazy prices it's a beauty.
Yes, it has a mild cooling. Im gonna try it on its own next time. When I used it I had sprayad on some mentholated clubman =P but I did feel a mild cooling. I think you would like it =D
The "duke" also arrived in March. Still not used it yet. I have no idea how I am being so restrictive and calm about it. The temptation on is there, I just want to wait for my new razor. I will pair them up as husband and wife. Which is the wife?
Batch two of the razor blades arrived about 30 mins ago. I had to count them to see that they all arrived and decided to take a photo (slightly pathetic?)
Finally, as has been discussed separately,my baili safety razor. I'm not deliberately duplicating here. Just excited about my haul
From a shopping trip to Bosnia. One Arko stick cost me a whopping 0.43 $ And Pino Silvestre is my fathers aftershave. Nostalgia struck!
What the mailman brought me today! Full TOBS sampler provided by my enabling wife Another stunning Rolls Razor Imperial 2 razor with spare blade case and blade 22 mm faux stone shaving brush
