So today went as follows: arrive to painful emails, followed by painful meetings, followed by terrible food, followed by disharmony in the team meeting. Then a painful last telecom followed by two pints and a pizza. Looking forward to my shave for the perfect end to my day

Slightly better news after a doc's apt. today. The original radiologist misread the mammogram badly. Instead of one 6 cm tumor, there are two 1 cm tumors. But, early tests indicate that they are an aggressive type.

Also, awesome chance my wife gets out of hospital next week!!

Sunny day, watched the sun appear, watched my son refuse his food and got ready for the park... First things first though, time for a shave

 

Conversation this morning between me and SWMBO.
Me: How many guys do you know who use Cortisone-10 as a post-shave balm?
SWMBO: I don't know my friends' shaving routines.
Me: Then they're NOT your friends!

 

Sunny morning and still feeling tired and lazy.
Got a date today so I need to drag my butt downtown mid-day (going to the Chinese Street fair and parade w/ her - and then I'm hoping a buncha adult beverages and more sun).

Balance in the universe has been restored

 

Further update. Just watched once upon a time in the west with my 10 month old son. Well I say watched, more like played and knocked stuff over. As a reward SWMBO has allowed me to watch a fistful of dollars without interruption.

 

Today was a super nice day in the city.
It was a day full of walking around (according to my Fitbit I dragged my poor date around for over 7 miles in total today) and stopping by having a beer here..a cider there and some snacks at various places.
Watched a bit of the Chinese New Year parade.
