My wife and I both got a haul. She got a whipped dog synthetic brush and some caties bubbles. I got my baby smooth razor and a new knot for my century brush. The cold river was out for my morning shave so it got in the pic.

I've been fortunate enough to try most of the ATT base plates, only missing the H1 and H2 plates. Of all of the ones I have tried the M2 and R2 are still among my favorites. Be sure to let us know your thoughts after using them.

Thanks! I tried the M2 today shortly after arriving and thought it went well. I didnt use my normal Arko soap stick cause I was trying to use up some samples I collected but loaded up my go to Astra SP blade and got a very nice three pass shave (DFS) all around, which to me is great! I can hear it cut and when I see I have soap tracks on my face I can tell my angle is off so these two things helps me alot! I cant wait to try it out more. I will try out the M1 after the M2 and then move onto the R2.

My buddy loves the M1 and R1 plates and that was my plan but came across a deal on this set too good to pass up! Then found a M1 for sale cheap so picked that up too! The only thing in this set I am pretty sure I wont use is the Colossus handle so will have to hunt for an Atlas one.

Which handle(s) do you use with your ATT goodies? :)

I have a friend that is nuts about ATT and has all the plates made. He has been nice enough to let me try them for extended periods of time. In the past I have used all three ATT handles but prefer the middle one, forget what's it's called. For this two week test of the Slant plates, I have used my small Mongoose handle which is the same size as the Colossus. The large mongoose handle is 50% larger than the Colossus.

Craigslist haul today! New Merkur 23c, cheap brush, nice stand, 100 blades, Jack Black cream, Poraso soap and pre lube, and a wood tub, all new, all for $50.
The pic is from the ad, so not the best. Also won an auction this weekend with a birth year/quarter slim adjustable! Eagerly waiting on it! image.jpg

I have heard good things about the ATT slant, although it seems to be a toss up between the S1 and S2 from the posts I read. The middle handle is the Krono's. I need the Atlas one as the Colossus it too big and I can't imagine the larger mongoose one even bigger....too crazy for me! LOL

My slant, THE SLEDGEHAMMERG, came in today & my open comb, both by Merkur, came in a couple of days ago. Just finished shave with the slant, petformance was not short of excellent. The open comb gave a great shave also.

Yup. I really like this vendor, I'd say a good 4-5 hours easy. Definitely give them a look.
