I thought that it would be a good idea to start a thread just for Coate's cream instead of being buried in another thread.

Anyone else here enjoying the Coate's creams? So far I'm liking them much better than the Proraso that I regularly use and considered my standard for a good cream.

I've tried the Rose and the Tea Tree so far, and still look forward to the other 4 varieties, specifically the Lime . The rose has a strong rose fragrance, it's really nice. It might be too much for my sensitive skin though, but I'm going to try it a couple more times before I pass personal judgment on it. I do like it.

The Tea Tree has a nice scent as well. It's not great, but I do like it. It smells like PineSol infused with tea. Yeah, I know, who the Hell wants to shave with PineSol? But for some reason it pulls me in with a nice earthy scent and I look forward to keeping it in the rotation.

That leaves Lime, Sandalwood, Lavender and Almond. Updates to come .

The creams provide good lubrication and good cushion. Combined with a pre shave oil, it very well may be the smoothest pairing I've found yet!

I have been using the Lavender, Sandalwood, and Lime for some time now. They are great creams.

I have all the flavors. Don't like the Tea, the lime is ok. The rose, lavender and sandalwood are da bomb. Been using them to make ubelathers for over a year now

Ok guys, as much as I like using the Coate's, it doesn't agree with my skin. It causes irritation via a rash on my face. So now I'm off in search of a more sensitive cream.

Dang, I really liked this stuff :/.

Not to knock Coates, which I love, but you should try TOBS Jermyn Street for sensitive skin.

The only bad thing about Coates creams is that the tops break of too easy.

I squeeze mine into empty containers from other creams or my wife's empty little makeup containers which are similar but about half the size. Coates is just about the only almond scented product I like, which is funny considering I grew up in an Italian family. They all perform well above their price point.
