I think I might have to ban myself from this forum for 24 hours. It's too addictive and no one seems to purchase bad stuff! It just makes me want to purchase more stuff
Thanks, I think Just be mindful that even though this is a pretty and rather rare razor with some great reputation it's still a razor I've seen a couple of these on auction sites lately with an asking price of $250+. I got mine for a fraction of that price and I personally would not be willing to pay much more than 100-150 for a really nice, fully cased version. Pricing razors is such a pain. There's a lot of things to take into consideration...but at the end of the day I have to look at it and ask myself if I think I'll be able to get my money back. If I can then I have no problem buying one and if I sell it in a year the 'fun' I've had will be "free". That, is a pretty good hobby to me - and at the end of the day not really all that expensive.
Got in a couple soaps from Maggard today: Catie's Bubbles' La Terre Verte and Mickey Lee Soapworks' Bali Hai. LTV's scent is sandalwood, oakmoss and patchouli. Bali Hai is jasmine, sandalwood and black tea. Both are really unique scents. I shaved with LTV tonight and I have to say, Catie's Bubbles' performance really lives up to the hype. Top notch. And the scent developed really nicely when lathered.
I noticed that the sale that Caties bubbles had yesterday (I think it was for 60 tubs of their latest soap) sold out real quick
The Marche de Rasage or something like that? There's a lot of hype around it on Facebook. I saw it described as a cross between Aqua Di Gio and Cool Water, both of which I can't stand, so I will pass on that one.
I just ordered a bottle of "Krampert's Finest Frostbyte Aftershave". Seems to be wonderful stuff. Let's wait and hope the best...
Is this a brand new scent that people went out and bought without any idea of what it smells like, or one that's been tried and tested?
