My morning. My 6 year old has taken to thinking that passing gas is funny. I keep telling my wife to stop instilling that vulgar behavior in my darling little sweetheart, but she insists on being disgusting around her. So we're in the kitchen doing morning routine stuff. She's taking a drink of water, grabs the counter, and proceeds to imitate the sound of a chainsaw cranking. Laughs, goes wide eyed, and quickly runs out out of the room saying that she needs to go to the bathroom. Thankfully she made it without incident...
My workweek is almost done. We have a 4 day school week, so Thursday is our Friday and this is the last day of the 3rd 9 weeks. So my first period class finished up a unit on food science with pancakes, waffles and bacon!
Just found out yet ANOTHER great church isn't going to give me even an initial interview. They didn't even pay me the courtesy of letting me know. I had to find out by reading their website. It gets harder and harder for me to recover each time.
I keep telling myself that bad days help you appreciate the good ones. Well, I'm ready for a good one.
Hang in there, bud! There is a place for ya! The finding is the difficult part, I know... Prayers heading your way! On a positive note: we're leaving now for Amsterdam (a few hours' drive from here) to attend to a concert in the famous 'Concertzaal': the evening of the film music. So we're having an evening of live film music like: James Bond theme, some Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer and other famous composers. Gonna be a great evening!
Today so far. Watched the Aussie grandprix. Took SWMBO to get some clothes for Mother's Day (for some bizarre reason I have to pay!) Then fixed a washer in a tap and polished some silverware which then led to the opportunity to polish some razors...
Thanks! It was great! If I'm not mistaken it will be on the television next week. We will check if we can see ourselves.
Busy day. I had to fill in at the archery club, because one of the other instruuctors had a scheduling problem. I don't mind; giving lessons can be very satisfying. But it means spending a lot of time on my feet, so I am rather tired.
