mmmm... bourbon vanilla =P Im definitely getting TSD soaps when my no buy ends. Dont care about the shipping cost when a soap is this good! I have Lemongrass with menthol and a sample of Pumpkin harvest. I still haven't tried the pumpkin harvest, but its next on the list to try =D

Just purchased the following. Heard mixed reviews on it. All in one shave soap, bath soap shower soap thingy

    image.jpg

Bought it primarily because it looks like the old soap you see in john wayne films :)

Love the look of it. Let us know how it works out.
I tried one of those all-in-one soaps before (The Swedish Dream Sea Salt soap) and it was truly terrible ;)

I kinda heard the same feedback about this bar. A moisture-rich bar blended with shea butter and sandalwood extract.

    The way we blend it
    Moisturizing karité
    Soothing aloe vera
    Aromatic sandalwood

I'm thinking a boar knot in that one. I'm really liking it.

Yea no problem. I sand the handle with 600 grit to get out big imperfections. Then move to 1000,1500,3000, and 5000 grit.

Then hand polish it with a car polish and micro fibre towel.

This is after sanding and polishing. Then repainting the letters. I really like this handle

    Like glass.... Beautiful.

I've only just begun my BAD and restorations there of. I've only been using 600 grit then wet sand with 2000 grit and finish with plastic/metal polish and soft cloth.

Yea I've really been having fun doing restores on these old handles.

I just find if you step up slowly on the level of sandpaper it really gives a smooth finish.

Fantastic. Your idea of a boar knot sounds great as well. Look forward to seeing the finished product.

The soaps are nice. But that potato Vodka really caught my eye! Have you had a chance to taste it?

Wouldn't potato vodka really be a moonshine? I'm interested in getting that.

Moonshine isn't regulated, this Vodka looks to be a commercially done product. Also I'm not sure what the prof is?
