Tabacstag! Typical amazing Tabac shave today. My face is smooth and comfortable with no drama. I am having trouble using any razor but my 39c. It has taken over my den. Stirling Bay Rum Parker best badger Fatip Piccolo (Derby blade) Cold water/alum Captain's Choice Lime I opted for a change of pace today and went with the Fatip over my beloved and trusty Muhle. Nevertheless, it was a smooth shave and an excellent way to begin a rain-soaked St. Patrick's Day here in the Northeast (at least it's not snowing). Have a great day everyone!
Well, if I were to shave today this would be the set up for St. Patrick's day. I might add the razor is German. The scales and brush handle are American made, the bristle, Italian and the soap English. BTW, the bowl is Chinese.
Monday night SOTD I went with the 1904 because i've learned my lesson about lifting up heavy things before shaving with a straight. A nice 4-pass to end the day. Using an ancient technique passed down through the ages, I magically whipped up the JB cream with the WD. The Gillette Wand is truly Magical with its heavy handle and head. It gave me a mystical shave with no pressures with the Feather blade. WTG XTG on my face on 5 and ATG on my neck on 3. It was as if my beard just vanished! A little Cucumber Witch Hazel, from that Witchy Women, and after cleanup some JB balm. Gotta finish with some OS. Need to conjure up some warmer weather, come on Summer! Did I say Witchy Women, oh boy, Abracadabra, POOF!!!!
