Fantastic shave. It appears I have found the proper plate for me. Close, comfortable, zero feedback from alum and AS. I would say BBS except for once small area on jaw left side by ear.

Post - RazoRock Alum & The Veg

Another comfort shave today. Had part of a sample of Catie's Bubbles from a guy here in STL from December so whipped that up. Can't remember the scent but it's awesome stuff. Day two on the Voskhod just as smooth as day one. Three passes and DFS. Didn't chase the baby since I did that yesterday. Alum was quiet, the Veg refreshing! Three more days of comfort then it's on the the final vintage and carbon for March! Where did this month go??

Had another great shave again today (3 in a row). I'm not sure I'll ever be a fan of the Toro razor, the base plate has really sharp corners that wanna dig in if not careful. The Acadian Spice has an odd scent but the performance is great. The AS left my face feeling fantastic without the "burn" typical of my other BR aftershaves.

Do you need a permit to have that brush? Looks good. Have you tried to unscrew the top. I've read that originally they had interchangeable heads.

I'm with you on the Super-Max Platinums. I picked some up last year based on a review. I still use them on occasion to see if it was my technique, but they pull a lot so it's one and done. I use a very light touch and find Feathers are my go to blade.
