It is The Blackbeards Revenge. This will be the first time I have used this product.

The Palmolive seems to be a no-frills all-performance cream. I enjoy it and glad you did, too.

I had to bust out the styptic today, too! Oh well it happens. The black handle SS I have has chopped me up pretty good. Still need to find a good blade for it maybe.

Agreed. Glad it doesn't smell like Palmolive dish soap. Can't stand the smell of that stuff.

I was using a blade once that was cutting me up like crazy. It turned out to have a slight bend in one of the edges. I check them all out before I use them now. (It was a Voshkod)

Blade was doing great..... Until the doors started to open... All of a sudden it got real aggressive, until I realized what had happened.

Produces a great lather with very little being used. I'm a three pass shaver, so once the brush was loaded I have way to much.

    March 20 Plans

    Stirling Sheep bath/face soap
    Merkur 37C slant bar razor
    Feather blade (day 1)
    Omega 10098 boar brush
Stirling Naked and Smooth shave soap
    Two passes
Alum, Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, & unrefined shea butter

This set up is giving me near-BBS shaves with no nicks or irritation almost every morning. I finally got the hang of lathering the Stirling thanks to the great advice I received here.

It has been a great week for me, and I hope yours has been too!

Fourth day with the Famex - a most excellent shave.
Maybe it was due to the ABC handle I put on it - I think it looks really neat and it felt great during the shave.

    Razor: Famex
    Blade: Rapira
    Brush: L'Occitane Plisson
    Soap: Cella
    A/S: Myrsol Agua Balsamica

Hey, if you guys want to know about menthol - then come see me and I'll teach you. The Neutrogena facial wash is how you prepare your skin so it gets the first coating of ice. Then, you lather up with the Glacial Lavender soap and by the time you put your brush down, your face will feel almost like it's coming off. After you finish, massage your face with some Gold Bond moisturizer for some extra chilliness, then slap on some Alcolado Glacial and you'll freeze your tush off. That's how it's done! ;) :D

Wishing everyone a nice weekend in advance! :)
