To all, We have a lot of people who enjoy photography as we see in our SoS threads along with other threads. This will be one that will focus on Outdoor Photos and Landscapes. You may or may not have shaving equipment in them. The rules of the thread. 1. The pictures must be ones that you have taken, or someone close to you personally has taken. In other words don't get random photos from the web. 2. Please keep the images to 1,024K at the longest length if possible so that we can see them easier. 3. Keep them clean since this is in the general section of the forum. 4. A few words on the photo to provide some extra context is always welcome. Enjoy! P.S. thanks to @ChiefShaver for requesting this thread!
Here is the first picture ... This was taken in my front yard in mid spring of 2013. Most of the land in my area is somewhat arid with Mesquite trees and prairie grass being the most prolific plant life. In the spring however, many flowers from the native plants bloom. The wild rabbits seem to enjoy them immensely. This rabbit had been a regular around my place for sometime and knew my comings and goings well. This one generally paid me no attention as it went about the daily routine. I tend to let the yard grow until May to give the rabbits and other animals a place to enjoy before the hot summer months come along. Here is a close up of another much younger rabbit in the yard. Sometimes though I would have to shoo them away before starting the old truck up.
This is one the east side of Decatur Texas before the road turns west and goes into the downtown square.
My Bride and I vacationed in Maine two years ago. We had a great time. We'll always treasure the people we met and the beautiful scenery. I took this photo in Bernard, ME near Acadia National Park. We visited the lobster pound that day, so I'm sure one of these boats delivered our lunch.
Daffodil fields bloomed early this year. Some of the tulip fields are talking about opening 12 days early also.
Took a motorcycle trip out to Arkansas last October with my best friend. Picture is from a ferry ride crossing from Arkansas into Missouri.
