Beautiful!! See you pulled out the big gun this morning. (pun intended with the attached video). Pretty cool video too.

Who did the re-plate as I'm looking to have my gold toggle spruced up.

3 passes today. I added unscented MDC into my normal rotation and plan to use it mixed with something that smells delicious. Regular MDC is still in my normal rotation, so now I get twice as much MDC as before. :)

Actually it is all origional. I picked it up at an estate sale last September. It's my "White Whale". I believe I'm the only one to have ever used it. I've only used it a few times and it is truly a treat. If I ever need one of my Gillettes replated I will contact Chris Evatt at Razorplate. He has a very good reputation.

03/21 – I received a sample of St. Charles Bay Rum SS and it is outstanding. Super slick and thick. Has anyone purchased St. Charles before? I had never heard of it until it showed up as a freebie. Overall today’s shave was a very nice BBS.

This will be my second shave with Arko. It's a very good soap, but I'm not sure about the scent. I've heard that it tastes pretty good, though. Enjoy your Sunday!

What an excellent find. Last post I had seen a while back was that Chris is nearly caught up but not accepting new orders. I had my Fatboy re-plated by Razor Emporium and they did a fantastic job but with me looking at possibly 3 re-plates I may split them up to compare the quality of work.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC1 Silver Tip Badger Brush. Two passes with my GEM MMBT SE razor and a GEM Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today I used Proraso pre shave cream, DR Harris lavender soap and feather blade. So far, this is the closest shave I have had, but more nicks than usual, still working on technique.

Final day of the Voskhod and Tech. Another great shave though it seemed like it took just a tad more effort to hit DFS in two passes. At 5 days the Voskhod has performed quite well. Love these blades. Tomorrow it's back to carbon for one more blade. The Treet Classic awaits and will be wielded by my 1918 Old Style. So much for the mild razor I've been using. Time to get AGGRESSIVE!! Hope you all had a good Saturday and supported your local car dealer by buying a car!

early start tomorrow, made my shave tonight. been working with my straights( honing, stropping) s good part ofthe day. so tonight I used the spotted Emperor for the full three pass shave. not bbs, but very nice. I'm pretty pleased, it was too dull to use. I was able to get it up to shave ready.
    (who-rah). finished with nivea balm.
hope y'all do as well, or better.
